Beyonce hit up the New York premier of “Notorious” yesterday glowing from head to toe. Mrs. Carter, fresh off the heels of a romantic getaway with her boo, Jay-Z, looked fresh and relaxed. I was tryna see if she’s still rocking her “Obama for yo Mama” nails but I couldn’t tell…
In related news, Bey was just nominated for five NAACP awards, including best female recording artist, best video for both “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies” and best supporting actress for Cadillac Records. Do you really expect anything less from this superstar?
Charles Barkley told Arizona cops that he ran a stop sign because he was in a hurry to pick up a girl who had “given him a ‘blow job’ one week earlier,” which the former NBA star described as “the best one he had ever had in his life.” According to a Gilbert Police Department report, a copy of which you’ll find here, police asked Barkley where he was going at the time of the 1:26 AM traffic stop in Scottsdale. “You want the truth? I was gonna drive around the corner and get a blow job,” answered Barkley, who is pictured in the above mug shot. A cooperative Barkley also joked with a civilian police employee that, “I’ll tattoo your name on my ass” if it would get him out of the DUI charge. Barkley, 45, was busted after failing field sobriety tests, and had blood drawn so investigators could establish his alcohol content. Barkley was cited for a misdemeanor charge and released at the scene, thus avoiding a trip to the Maricopa County jail.

Rihanna was spotted at the Gucci Fashion show in Milan where she was taking in the line for Spring/Summer 2009. Ri Ri was working an all-black look similar to the one she rocked during the MTV awards and her makeup was FLAWLESS!
Rihanna will also try her hand at designing soon. She and Gucci designer Frida Giannin are in the process of designing a gown for a collection that Rihanna, herself, will be promoting. The “Disturbia” singer will also be appearing in Gucci’s “Tattoo Heart” ad campaign this holiday season.
Check out a brief preview of Kanye West’s new Comedy Central show called Alligator Boots. The show is billed as a “Hip-Hop Muppet Show” and will be produced by Jackhole Prods., the production company founded by Jimmy Kimmel, Daniel Kellison and Adam Carolla that was also behind Comedy Central’s puppet-centric “Crank Yankers.”
The project, which is under consideration for 2009, would feature music produced and performed by West and fellow rapper Rhymefest, both of whom are serving as executive producers on the pilot alongside Kellison. West also hosts the pilot; the idea is to have a different celebrity guest host for every episode, similar to the setup on the original “Muppet Show.” Kimmel’s brother Jon (”South Park”) is co-exec producer on the pilot. Ciara hit up MTV news still disgruntled over the fact that she’s nude on the cover of Vibe Magazine. Although there was no mention of a lawsuit, Ci Ci says she walked into the situation expecting to be involved in an “artistic” photoshoot and says once she saw the photo it was very misleading. Vibe editor in chief Danyel Smith says she wasn’t at the shoot, but that she knows for a fact Ciara was naked, because being naked was Ciara’s idea. (”It was love and kisses and nakedness,” Smith told New York’s KIIS-FM.) Smith has also stated that she may release the original photos on Vibe’s website so everyone can see for themselves.
