Good music never gets old! This is now one of my favorite videos and you already know Outkast, Goodie Mob and the entire Dungeon Family are my favorite ATLiens. The song “In Due Time” is from Soul Food: Soundtrack - Music From The “Soul Food” Motion Picture but the video has nothing at all to do with the movie. It was filmed in Savannah, Georgia (Big Boi’s “hometown”) and I’m still laughing at the cameos…C-Bone, Erykah Badu, Goodie Mob…!
…and Andre 3000 with that dayum “Bling, Bling, Bling, Bling, Bling” proves it…no debate necessary! Them dudes is crazy as hell…but that’s why we love them so much!
Ok, let me set the scene for you….it’s summertime 1990, you and your crew are chillin in your Red Volkswagen Golf with the chrome Enkeis on your way to hang out at Maddox Park. You pop in your newly purchased Basic Black cassette tape and out of your 12 inch speakers comes this bangin beat right here! Memories…
I see you Spec! You were doin’ it in them crunchy fingerwaves…!
After seeing Lil G (Gary Jenkins) from Silk perform last night, I had to go dig up some old school Silk on my iPod. I heard this song and was jammin all the way home! Felt like 95 all over again…
Check Lil G’s MySpace page…and tell him I said “What up!”
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Outkast. No one can compare. Big Boi…Dre…Rico…Khujo…T-Mo…Gipp…Cee-Lo…Sleepy…(Hell…the Dungeon Family) will forever hold a special place in my heart! Remember that time at Greenbriar Mall in the foodcourt…..nevamind!
I’m Bankhead Bouncin right now! Hey…when the name of the street changes does the name of the dance change to??? That’s my profound thought for today….

I put my hands up on your hips…when I dip, you dip, we dip!
I love this song but some dances are made just for us girls! I don’t ever want to dance with a dude whose hips are rotating more than mine…I’m just sayin’!
Kilo Ali was the ish until he tried some of Frank Lucas’ Blue Magic and went crazy…! No…for real though. I recall dude set his own house on fire while under the influence (of SOMETHING) and when the po-po came his response was something like…”it’s my house, and I can burn this [mutha] down if I want to!”
Crack is whack! Say “NO” to drugs! Yada, Yada…Blah, Blah…
I think he did some jail time, tried to come back but never came. I wonder where he is now?? At any rate…enjoy this flashback!
