106 & Park’s Terrance & Rocsi interviewed Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama via satellite last week and aired the footage during yesterday’s show.  Obama spoke of the current economic situation and stressed the need for CHANGE.  With record registration rates, the challenge will now be making sure that everyone actually VOTES.

How cute is this?!?  Jailbreak toys is offering a Barack Obama action figure and is calling it “The only action figure with the power to transform a nation!”  The creator, Jason Feinberg, 31, is an Obama supporter who states:

“Those of us from Generation X remember all of our fictional heroes like Batman and Superman,” says Feinberg. “It’s so fulfilling having a hero based on a real man with real accomplishments.”

The figure also comes in an exclusive summer suit edition.  I think it’s cute and I want one for my desk…if I had a desk!

This is awful!  First there was this crazy dude who was charged with making treats against Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama, now two other crazy asses have been captured and are currently being held under suspicion of conspiracy to hurt Obama.  28 year old, Tharin Gartrell was stopped in Aurora, Colorado for driving erratically and police found two rifles in his rented vehicle.  Gartrell led authorities to a 2nd unidentified man, who jumped from his 6th floor hotel room window when he was confronted.  The secret service, FBI and local agencies are looking into the possibility that the men were involved in a conspiracy to assassinate Obama.  The loonies are coming out in full force…

Oprah Winfrey plans to attend the Democratic National Convention in Denver later this month to lend her support to Presidential Nominee Barack Obama, but don’t expect her to steal his spotlight:  

“Oprah has not been asked to introduce him, is not expecting to be asked to introduce him and I would doubt that she would want to introduce him. She thinks this is his moment,” said Oprah’s BFF Gayle King.

Meet 22 year old Raymond Hunter Geisel.  Ray was arrested in Miami this weekend by the CIA and has been charged with threatening the life of Democratic Presedential Nominee Barack Obama.  Although he has denied making the threats, court documents reveal that in an interview with a Secret Service agent Geisel stated “if he wanted to kill Senator Obama he simply would shoot him with a sniper rifle, but then he claimed that he was just joking.”
