Tupac Shakur is officially a part of internet history!
In what might be considered the greatest hoax since that “Suge Knight Arrested for Killing Tupic” video, online hackers successfully hit up the PBS newshour website and posted a fake story about the deceased rap icon.
LulzSec, a notorious group of hackers who attack for ?fun and infamy? rather than for financial or activist reasons, accessed PBS’s database, where they secured login credentials and posted an article claiming that rappers Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls were found alive and well in New Zealand.
LulzSec’s hip-hop hoax had social networks buzzing for hours!
The article has since been removed but here it is it it’s entirety… Continue Reading…
An elderly woman suspected in a slew of robberies was shot dead today by Atlanta Police Officers.
58 year old Roxanne Taylor, of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Atlanta, was spotted in the drive-through of Wendy’s on Piedmont Road by someone who noticed that she matched the APD’s description of the “Grandma Bandit” who has robbed at least four metro area drugstores in the past two weeks.
Atlanta police arrived and attempted to stop the woman after she left the drive-through in a gold Jeep Liberty. The woman fled, leading police on a high-speed chase northbound on I85 northbound and causing a minor traffic accident after exiting at North Druid Hills Road.
According to the AJC, officers involved in the chase say they heard a gunshot, so they returned fire, hitting the elderly Taylor multiple times. Neither of the officers was injured.

Welp… The final episode of Oprah Show has come and gone (click HERE if you missed it) and now we’re all left to fend for ourselves everyday at 4pm.
After a successful 25 year run, Oprah’s final episode was her highest rated episode of the hit daytime talk show in more than 17 years. Coming 2nd only to a 1994 episode called “People Shed Their Disguises”.
I don’t know about you, but it feels weird not to have an option to watch Oprah in the afternoon. There seems to be collective sense of loss and emptiness now that the talk show staple is no longer on air.
During her final talk show episode, Oprah gave fans an email address to reach her [[email protected]] and assured everyone that she would be reading and reaching out.
Well… as expected, Oprah told the truth!
Miss O sent out a message yesterday to all of us who utilized her email. She specifically addressed all of y’all who are feeling sad about the end of an era and in typical Oprah fashion, left you with a few words of wisdom.
I hear so many of you saying you’re sad to see the show leave.
Instead of sadness, I hope you will channel the energy of hopefulness you received from the show in whatever form it gave to you.

Beyonce has been accused (yet again) of her “original” stealing ideas.
This time her performance of “Run the World (Girls)” during the 2011 Billboard Awards show is at issue… with many top blogs comparing the two and accusing Miss. B of stealing her performance from a February 2010 performance by Italian pop star Lorella Cuccarini.
A side by side comparison of the two is indisputable.
Lorella’s influence can be seen when watching the shows side-by-side. It feels as though Beyonc?’s team used Lorella’s show as a template and personalized it by changing out some of the details. Not only does Beyonc? use some of the same scenes Lorella used, but they fall in the same sequence.
Bey’s Billboard performance is full of obvious similarities…
So if your question is ‘was Beyonce’s Billboard Awards performance a copy?’… the answer is “yes”… but we already knew that.
Plus Beyonce has fessed up.
Video of the two performances side by side + Bey’s explanation below: Continue Reading…
