He’s the first man on my banner so it’s only fitting that my first post would be about my favorite couple Ushmeka! Obviously rumors of their demise have been exaggerated! Usher Raymond and his ride or die chick Tameka Foster Raymond have been partying it up over the holidays. Initially spotted together at Devyne Stephen’s 007 Black Tie Affair in Atlanta and finally ringing in the new year during a party at The Bank in Las Vegas. Tameka dropped that load and is back full swing on the party circuit. Little Naviyd Ely Raymond, barely 3-weeks old, is very well taken care of so don’t fret. You already know Meka is not about to sit quitely while Usher travels the world. Heck no! Kids or no kids she is all about her man! Now…THAT’s a real woman.

Who is Sasha Fierce? Contrary to popular belief, Sasha Fierce is not the gay dude you’ve seen performing “Put a Ring on It” step by step in his skivvies.  It’s Beyonce’s alter ego and title of her next CD, “I Am Sasha Fierce”.  The promotion for the singer’s new CD will be bombarding us with the Sasha Fierce movement soon, which includes an official Website, MySpace page and Gift Shop.

Sasha has been very busy promoting the CD and is mad flexible as you can see in the following promo pic:

In related news, I spotted Sasha Fierce on Access Hollywood the other day discussing cooking and kids. In the clip of her upcoming 1 hour TVOne interview with Tatyana Ali, Bey is reminded about an old Access Hollywood video where she lists the top 3 things she wants to accomplish before turning 30. This list included winning an oscar, getting married, and having children.  When Tatyani runs down the list, the look on Bey’s face is priceless! To refresh her memory, they ran the old clip and afterwards Mrs. Carter laughs and replies:

“You know, I still would love to win an Oscar,” she said. “The kids, I don’t know… In three years, maybe.”

Poor…poor Tameka! First she was forced to walk Tyler Perry’s red carpet alone and now THIS!  BlackVoices columnist Jawn Murray recently wrote of receiving a call from a “friend” of the Raymonds who gave him details of an alleged affair between Usher and an unnamed female singer.  The buzz surrounding the column is that the caller was hinting at the singer being Kelly Rowland and that Mrs. Raymond is actually te mastermind behind the call. I did a quick search and found a few pics of Usher and Kelly during fashion week in Paris.  Jawn said that the callers dates and times didn’t add up and that the two were on separate continents but the pic above was taken September 28th at the Marlies Dekkers Paris Catwalk Show during Paris fashion week. 

I’m not one gossip, but word around the “A” is that the Tameka and Usher have been separated for quite some time now and live in separate residences.  Usher has been spotted with several different women these past few months and Jawn confirmed in his column what we all know to be true about Usher not speaking to his wife during his 30th birthday bash: (more…)

Isn’t love WONDERFUL!!  Mary J. Blige & her hubby, Kendu Isaacs exchanged bodily fluids in front of the entire club Sunday night.  Mary, Kendu and other “A” list celebs partied the night away at the Velvet Room during her concert afterparty.  Ms. Blige made a point of greeting fans and signing autographs all night long and seemed happy and glowing.  I didn’t make it to the concert but I’m assuming the turnout was better than expected after the 1/2 price sale last Friday.  Hopefully, a few clips will make it my way soon…

Rihanna was spotted rocking what appears to be an engagment ring while on making the rounds in London, England.  Rih-Rih was photographed leaving the BBC Radio One studios earlier today (September 23) sporting a grey dress underneath a black coat with a black, white, and red scarf, black leggings, and a pair of lace-up heeled ankle boots.  

Despite the recent rumors that she’s in trouble financially, Rihanna says that she’s been keeping an extra-close eye on her business affairs, and that she’s staying on top of it:

“You can’t get away from the business side. It takes over. The minute you get into the business side, it becomes you. I get business reports all the time because it’s my money. And I stay on top by living it, breathing it, thinking about it every day and every night.”

Yes…I guess getting married is step one for her financial security.  I wish she and her “brother” Chris the best.

Play your position heffas!  That’s what Tiny’s yellin right now to all of Tip’s jumpoffs!  Word on the street is that one of em (cause I’m sure there’s many) is causing problems on Tiny’s MySpace page by getting all uppity about the fact that she’s been under T.I. many times.
