Erykah Badu ain’t playin with y’all youngstas.  No…for real. She ain’t!  Rumors have been circulating the net that she is pregnant by current beau, Jay Electronica.  Badu is being criticized by her choice to raise yet another child out of wedlock as well as carrying a third man’s child ~ the first two were fathered by Andre Benjamin (aka Andre 3000) and Tracy Currey (aka the D.O.C.) ~ and she is not taking it laying down (so to speak ).   Anyway…Erykah has written a message to combat all her haters and critics (I imagine her sitting in full military gear with an AK-47 slung over her should while writing this…)

“HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT THE QUEENDOM…AND MY CHILDREN AND MY INTELLIGENCE.”

Erykah Badu performed last night along with the Roots at the Fox Theatre in Detroit.   I’m sure the show was spectacular as always….but that wig? Only Erykah can…

It’s official…we always knew Erykah Badu had powers, we just didn’t know what they were!   Ms. Badu recently revealed that she is a certified holistic healer and has studied studied reiki – a type of healing therapy. 

“I became a second-degree reiki practitioner. I’m not just a recording artist. I do many things and try to put my hand in many places.” (Source)

I ain’t touching that last statement… but Erykah never holds her tongue!  She recently gave advice about makin it in the industry…the best one “get azz implants, tongue kiss another woman and do some hoe sh*t”…

Erykah has a new boo! Jay Electronica. He’s an artist on her new record label.

“I started a label, Control Freq Records, on the strength of him. I heard his music through a friend of mine, Supernova. And he brought him over to my house and we’ve been inseparable from that day because we just have the same biorhythms,” says Badu.

You go girl! He’s a cutie. I just hope he can withstand that “Badu-ism” thing she puts on ‘em. Y’all know they say she “turned out” Dre and Common. Watch out Jay…

Erykah Badu (and her big azz fro) was spotted performing last night on VH1’s Soul Stage at St. Annes Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York.  If these pics tell the story, that performance was off da hook! 

The gossip mill has also been buzzing this week about who’s the daddy of Erykah’s 3 year old daughter, Puma.   Word on the street is that it’s either D.O.C. or Andre 3000…

All I know is that Erykah is the ish…who care’s who the baby daddy is…!
