Goodie Mob reunited onstage last night during Nelly’s free concert at the Tabernacle. One monkey didn’t have to stop the show, cause all four of them were there! I love to see Atlanta unified and on the grind. Afterwards, the group was also spotted taking in the Bun B concert at The Loft.

Hot couple Nelly & Ashanti were spotted in Houston this weekend at TJ’s DJ’s Tastemakers/DJ’s Music Conference. Bun B and his wife Queen were also spotted in the crowd. Ashanti was looking homegirl cute as usual but I guess she didn’t get the memo about black shirts and flashes. The photographer definitely knew what was up and chose not to warn Shanti about her peek-a-boo boobies. I wonder if Nelly’s as pissed about these as he was about the Body Tap flix?
Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def weekend continued last night with a white party held at Woodruff Arts Center. The event was hosted by Sanaa Lathan, Gabrielle Union, Nia Long & Regina King and was DJ’d by none other than the A’s own Lil Jon. Jermaine Dupri kicked off So So Def weekend with his annual 50K strip off at Body Tap. Overall they made it rain over $120,000 dollars last night. Nelly, Rocko, Chingy and more added to the final tally, with Nelly walking around with a box full of cash. Tonight the fun continues with a celebrity bowling tournament at 300 Bowling Alley, the “Welcome to Atlanta” party is tomorrow at Dreams, the Celebrity basketball game is at Morehouse on Saturday followed by a white party at Woodruff Arts Center and Nelly & J.D. will host the grand finale at The Velvet Room on Sunday. This is gonna be the longest weekend ever…

Sean “Diddy” Combs sure knows how to pick em! No joke…he really does! Diddy has just selected my favorite pecan tan man, Nelly, as the new spokesmodel for Sean John. Ashanti….I admire you.

Check out the official video for Ashanti’s second single from “Declaration.” The track was written by Ashanti and produced by the self-proclaimed mayor of Atlanta, Jermaine Dupri. This is a really cute song and I liked it better once I saw the video. Nelly is still hot…no matter how many kids he has.
The Tabernacle is gonna be bumpin on August 29th! That’s the date that Nelly is performing for $$”FREE-99″ in Atlanta. Nelly, along with Nas and Mariah Carey have been slated to perform as part of the second annual Samsung AT&T Summer Krush, a free summer concert series designed to highlight Samsung’s BlackJack II mobile phone. Nas is scheduled to perform at Webster Hall in New York on Aug. 27 and Mariah kicks off the series July 31st in Los Angeles. A limited number of free tickets will be available through radio promotions, artist fan clubs, street teams and online registration at www.samsungsummerkrush.com.
