People Magazine is reporting that Jay-Z and Beyonce are officially Mr. and Mrs. As reported earlier, the couple planned to tie the knot Friday, April 4th at 6:00pm.
The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the rapper’s Tribeca apartment that drew Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny’s Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow.
Congratulations! If it’s true, I’m soooo happy for them. Marriage is a good thing.
The net has been bumping this week with stories that Jay-Z and Beyonce are finally gonna take the plunge. First the Knowles family makes a statement that they feel “Beyonce is Too Young for Marriage.” Then on Tuesday, April 1st (aka April Fool’s Day), it was reported that the couple took out a marriage license in New York. Today, fellow blogger Perez Hilton is reporting that they have also set a date…and it’s April 4th, 2008….tomorrow! At this rate, the baby will be born by the end of the year! Stay Tuned!
Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles have been a bonafide couple for over 6 years now (wow..time flies!) but rumor has it that they’ve been taking their time jumping the broom only because Bey’s parents feel that she’s too *cough* young for marriage!
Things are getting more serious for Jay-Z and Beyoncé. The couple of nearly six years have been slow to take that next step in their relationship, in part because her parents believe she’s too young (26) to get married.

Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige were all smiles today at the kick-off of their “Thirty-Something” “Heart of the City” tour. Kanye and Jeezy were also spotted backstage. The Dream was the opening act. I really wanted to see them when they come the the A…but I’ll be sittin on the beach drinkin rum outta a coconut! Hmmmm…. this gives me an excuse to go to Vegas!

Rumor has it that Rapper/Mogul/Entrepreneur, Jay-Z has been desperately seeking funds to start his own label, Carter Music Group. Since leaving his position as president of Def Jam, he has been asking upwards of $100 million and also wants the investor(s) to provide for overhead, development and digital investment.
“He wants the labels to basically be his venture capital fund - but unlike a venture cap, they won’t get 50 percent. This is not the ’90s anymore.” (Source)
Check out the new video for Jay-z’s “I Know” from the American Gangster CD. It’s kinda dark…is Jay even in it?? Oh yeah…I think I may have seen his hat…and is that Zoe Kravitz? Hell I can’t see ish! These concept videos are really starting to get to me. First “Flashing Lights” and now this?? I kinda get it though…I think we’re supposed to be experiencing her “heroin high”…I think.
Jay Z and Labron James hosted their 2nd Annual Two Kings Dinner last night in New Orleans for the 2008 NBA All Star Weekend. I only posted these pics cause I’m salivating over Beyonce’s Black & White Mary Janes….but there were others there worth mentioning, like Ludacris, Steve Stoute, Gabrielle Union, DJ Clark Kent and of course, Jay-Z. Even Spike Lee came out to join in on the festivities!
Then on Tuesday, April 1st (aka April Fool’s Day), it was
