Jay-Z spoke with Tim Westwood moments before going onstage at Britain’s 2008 Glastonbury Music Fest. Tim asks him about his new look (the GLASSES!). I guess if your eyesight is failing and you don’t want lasik, you may as well do it big! I don’t care what y’all say, Jay makes it known that he is still a SUPA-STAH! The BBC is even reporting that he made history at the concert where he poked fun at Noel Gallagher from the group Oaisis (who said that hip hop didn’t belong at Glastonbury) by starting his set with his rendition of their song, “Wonderall”. Check out the full 1 hour performance after the jump, and see if you can spot Beyonce jammin in the crowd!
Super dope producer and fellow ATLien, DJ Toomp and his manager/friend/partner Bernard Parks were spotted partying it up in New York last week at Kanye’s Glow in the Dark Tour after party.
Oh yeah…I almost forgot. Kanye, Jay-Z, DJ Clue, Diddy & his boo Cassie and others were there too!
Check out this pic of Rihanna backstage after Kanye’s Glow in the Dark tour on Monday. Of course she was asked the customary Chris Brown/Jay-Z questions but this time she threw up the duece to display her “Love” tatt.
On C-Breezy ~ “We’ve always been friends…but we’re very close now.”
On Jay-Z ~ ““I get asked about it all the time and I’m like, ‘You’re asking, but you know the answer’”
Is she trying to tell us something? Was the signal for Chris or Jigga? I’m so confused. Beyonce gurl…watch yo back!
Jay-Z hosted the after-party for the Heart of the City tour in New York last night at his 40/40 club. Of course wifey Beyonce was there to show support…still no ring (dayum!). Also spotted were Fonzworth Bentley, Irv Gotti, Fabolous and Kendu Isaacs and more. Check out more flix after the jump…
Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z turned out New York’s Madison Square Garden Friday night during their 30 Something Heart of the City Tour. I guess the wardrobe is the same for every concert cause these pics look the same as all the others I’ve seen. I still love me some Mary though so I’ll keep posting em! Click here to read what the NY Post had to say about the concert.
