Divorce rumors about NeNe Leakes of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and her husband Greg are apparently still circulating.
I’ve said time and time again that I don’t for one minute believe these two are breaking up and I base my hunch simply on the fact that Lisa Wu-Hartwell confided to me during THIS mini-interview that Bravo asked her to create drama between her and Ed to stay on the show and she wouldn’t.
I’ve also seen NeNe and Greg together on many occasions AFTER all the divorce talk unfolded, but that’s besides the point. NeNe’s stepson (Greg Leakes’ 34 year old son Damien) has recently gone public about the drama unfolding between the two… and he say’s it’s about to get really messy!
Remember when Greg Leakes’ ranted in that historic taped phone call about $300,000 NeNe owed him for all that plastic surgery? Well Damien says that’s all true and his Daddy is looking to collect his cash… Continue Reading…
The show that gave Memphis, Tennesee the title of “murder capital” is coming to Atlanta.
Dekalb County Police has signed a contract with producers of the popular A&E docu-drama “The First 48,” and production crews began shooting just last week.
The metro Atlanta county is divided over how the exposure will affect Dekalb County murder investigations. Some officers believe the national exposure from the documentary television series will help with recruiting, while others are concerned it could actually help criminals instead. Continue Reading…

Not long after comedian Steve Harvey, 54, hit his mid-life crisis and went shirtless for the masses, he reinvented himself as a love and relationship guru through a slew of bestselling self-help books. The most popular of which, “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man” was featured on Oprah.

In Steve’s real life, however, his ex-wife claims he was a no-good cheating husband. In a trio of YouTube videos that have gone viral, Mary Harvey finally acknowledges what some have assumed all along. That Steve Harvey is a hypocrite. Making money giving relationship advice while he’s nothing but a cheater himself.
“He turned my son against me, had me evicted from my house,” Mary says in one clip. (They divorced in 2005.) “I woke up, and everything was gone.”
Mary also added that Steve’s current wife, Marjorie Bridges, was originally his mistress. (Maybe I’m lost.. but who didn’t know that?)
View all three clips of Steve’s ex-wife Mary spilling all the TEA on Mr. Harvey below: Continue Reading…
There are just some people that I would never imagine meeting at ANY function that would allow me entrance… and one of them is Bono!
I ran up on Bono and a guy that looked like his bandmate, Larry Mullin, as they were perusing the artwork at “The Next Cool Thing” event this weekend and I immediately lost all my focus. I was there supporting my BFF Interior Decorator Extraordinaire DanaT and I was no longer “ATLien” the blogger… I was Michelle the fan!!! This may be an “urban” site, but I looooves me some U2! *swoon*
If I was thinking like a blogger, I woulda pulled out the flip cam I keep in my purse for cases like this, but that wasn’t even on my mind. I was too busy telling Bono how much I admired him and all he’s done for the world and blushing because he said I was pretty. Shoot… if it wasn’t for my friend Pierre, I wouldn’t have even thought to take a picture. I was just happy to meet him.
[Sidebar: I still remember how buttery soft Bono’s black leather jacket was against my skin… and he smelled like apples! yummm! Oh wait. Maybe it was those sour apple martini’s I was smelling.]
Needless to say, this man has touched millions. Not only with is music, but with his humanitarian efforts across the globe. Bono has every right to throw Diva-tude, but he didn’t at all. He was so cool that I was almost shocked. So I do this post to thank Bono for being so gracious during my moment of groupie-ism.
I am so honored to have exchanged a few words with such an icon and will forever be touched.
