As I was perusing the tweets last night, I noticed my blogger friend Freshalina’s throwback Outkast post.
In a vintage MTV video filmed back in 2001, Big Boi and Andre 3000 of Outkast argue over a freaky nighttime bat/bird sighting.
Big Boi and Dre can’t seem to agree on if the flying creatures spotted are birds or bats and the disagreement makes for some hilarious Outkast flashback footage…

Word on the curb is that K. Whasserface is planning on a ‘butt reduction’ in the near future.
Shockingly, the reality show starlit seems to have had an epiphany about her bodacious backside and after years of ‘pumping it up’ with fix-a-flat and fat injections, she’s decided that her baggage is to much of a burden to bear.

I’m not a big basketball fan but I always support the hometeam and speaking of which, the Atlanta Hawks recently released a promotional video featuring several of your favorite A-Town celebs.
Janelle Monae, Kandi Burruss, Ludacris, Big Boi, Jermaine Dupri, T.I. and Young Jeezy are just a few of the familiar faces you’ll see, as they salute the b-ball team from the city that has been appropriately dubbed ‘Black Hollywood’…
On this team… everyone matters. And on this night… no one’s on the bench.

Clifford ‘T.I.’ Harris and up & coming rapper Kap-G appeared on CNN last night to discuss issues of racial profiling and their ‘angry rap lyrics’ with host Don Lemon.
It was just about a week ago that Tip and David Banner jumped on the remix of Kap-G’s ‘La Policia’ and in light of all the recent news of police brutality nationwide, it seems their message of rage is being heard loud and clear.

When asked about the angry message in the song, T.I. responds:
I think there is resentment… an undeniable fear that (I believe) law enforcement has for young minorities and it is reflected in their actions.
And of course that leads to angry lyrics because our music, historically has been a reflection of our circumstances.
So if you don’t like our lyrics, you must then change the circumstances that inspire them.

Welp… it doesn’t look like this Mo’Nique ‘Blackballing’ situation is going away anytime soon (at least not if she can help it).
[FLASHBACK: He Say/She Say: Lee Daniels Weighs in on Mo’Nique Blackballing Claims + Mo’Nique Claps Back! (VIDEO)]
In the ongoing saga over whether the Academy Award winning actress was ever offered the coveted role of Cookie Lyon on the hit Fox series “Empire,” Mo’nique is back and this time… she’s pulled receipts!
[FLASHBACK: Gabborey Sidebe Chimes in on Mo’Nique Drama… ]
Mo’Nique recently appeared on the SiriusXM radio show “Sway in the morning,” where she told host Sway Calloway that last year, Daniels called her saying, “You got the role, but you know, there’s some technical stuff — I aint’ never done TV before, so you gotta go through the technical part.”
Mo’Nique then produced proof of their conversation… printed-out emails she said were sent to her by Daniels’ camp shortly after their conversation, asking her representatives to coordinate a screen test, before they later announced the deal was dead.
