Hot couple Nelly & Ashanti were spotted in Houston this weekend at TJ’s DJ’s Tastemakers/DJ’s Music Conference.  Bun B and his wife Queen were also spotted in the crowd.  Ashanti was looking homegirl cute as usual but I guess she didn’t get the memo about black shirts and flashes.  The photographer definitely knew what was up and chose not to warn Shanti about her peek-a-boo boobies.  I wonder if Nelly’s as pissed about these as he was about the Body Tap flix?

I know y’all don’t believe me but I couldn’t make this ish up.  Ashanti has just been named an Ambassador in her home town of Nassau County Long Island. (more…)

Check out the official video for Ashanti’s second single from “Declaration.” The track was written by Ashanti and produced by the self-proclaimed mayor of Atlanta, Jermaine Dupri. This is a really cute song and I liked it better once I saw the video. Nelly is still hot…no matter how many kids he has.

Check out these flicks of Ashanti at her Album release party held at the W Hotel in New York.  Shanti may be yet another Black woman who has chosen to cross over to the other side…for she was practically glowing in this pic with what appears to be her new date.  On the serious tip, word on the street is that she and Nelly have parted ways and there was definately no sign of him (or any other celebs) at this event.  Cornell was probably just at home spending time with all them kids…but at any rate it looked like fun times for the fam. 

Singer/Songwriter Ashanti recently interviewed with Sister2Sister magazine and told Jamie Foster Brown her ideas for marriage, kids and money:

The savvy star holds back on buying expensive treats and instead saves the millions she gets from her film and music careers.

She says, “I need, like, 12 (kids)… I love kids. I definitely want to get married… I’m so family oriented. I want the big wedding, I want the long marriage, I want kids. (But) I’ve got to stack my cheese a little bit more… I want to be able to bring my kids into the world nice and comfortable.” (Source)

Girl stop!  We know if she marries Nelly, she’s already halfway there in the kid department! 

Ashanti performed my current favorite song “The Way That I Love You” at AG Entertainment’s Hot on the Runway show Thursday night. She is really tryna make me like her! Dammit! …and because of Shanti winning me over I was gonna let it pass but I just can’t…so I’ll just say these three words.. Double Stick Tape. If you look closely maybe you’ll see what I see or maybe not, I’ve been told I have super powers!

Anyway, don’t forget to peep Mario performing in his shiny shirt after the jump. Every since “Dancing with the Stars”, I can never look at him the same.
