According to WSBTV, Police in Douglas County, Georgia, are on the hunt for a jealous woman who killed another woman over a man.
Law enforcement officials are stating that Nyla Foster, who had recently moved to Georgia from Lakeland Florida, and Shontori Gooden of Cobb County, were arguing in a parking lot over their mutual boyfriend.
A physical altercation ensued and a friend of both women, identified as Kelia Thomas, intervened. She states in the interview above, “I ended up breaking up their altercation and thought everything was fine.”
But shortly after Thomas broke up the fight, Gooden produced a gun and shot Foster in the thigh! Thomas said Nyla screamed her name and shouted, “She shot me! She shot me!”
Gooden fled the scene and Thomas attempted to drive her friend to a hospital, however she spotted a deputy parked nearby and asked for help.
Sadly, Foster later died from her injuries at a local hospital and now Shontori Gooden is a wanted woman.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s spokesperson Sgt. Susan Sweat of the Douglas County Major Case Unit said a murder warrant has been issued for Gooden, 21, whose last known residence was in Cobb County. Gooden also goes by the nicknames ‘Tori’ and ‘Brittney’.
Gooden is described as a light-skinned Black woman with tattoos, standing 5-foot-5 and weighing in at 160 pounds.
