Gucci Mane apparently has several collabs on the way and he’s excited to share the news.
The popular rap star is prepping for his next album, ‘Woptober,’ and it appears he’s been plenty busy in the studio working with quite a few artists!
While there’s plenty of new music from the ATL veteran on the way, Guwop took to snapchat recently to reveal he’s been working on some monster collabs and in doing so… inadvertently spilled the tea that an Outkast project may be in the works!
VIDEO: Gucci Man Reveals Collabs (2016)
According to Gucci’s snap video above, he has collabs with Lil Wayne, Boosie Badazz, Project Pat, E-40, and the legendary Outkast all on the way.
“I just did a record for OutKast,” says Gucci. “I just did a record for Wayne, I just did a record for Boosie, I just did a record for Project Pat, I just did a record for E-40.”
When the video hit the net, everyone zoned in on the Outkast news. Sure, we’ve been hopeful for a while, but as the months have turned to years, most fans accepted the fact that a reunion was impossible & dead.
But now… this news has sparked a renewed interest in ATL’s favorite rap duo and it appears SOMETHING may finally be in the works.
For the record, a rep for Andrè 3000 issued a carefully crafted response to all the inquiries, stating that there is currently “no Outkast news to report.”
