Hood girls around the country should be so proud now that K. Whasserface has set the standard.

The outspoken singer/reality show star recently snagged the endorsement deal of her life and it appears she’ll no longer have to spend her hard earned dough on her favorite pastime now that she’s the face of Jack Daniels whiskey.

[Sidebar: After being accused of stealing everyone’s ideas (NEVER FORGET: The IG Album Artwork and Huff Furniture), I’m sure Whasserface could use a few free dranks…. but I digress.]

The former “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” cast member claims to be the first African American to ever be endorsed by the Kentucky-based Jack Daniels liquor brand.

Last week, Whasserface visited the Kentucky headquarters and shared her experience via Instagram stating:

Listen! Dreams really do come true. I’ve been a Jack Daniels drinker for years. When I got my record deal I told Atlantic Records that I really wanted an endorsement with this company.

I stayed focused on battling my demons and becoming a better woman. Out of no where 2 years later I got the call that Jack was interested in me becoming their new brand ambassador. Today history was made.

I am the 1st African American ever to be endorsed by this amazing brand. What makes it even better is that this company is really focused on diversity and race relations. They actually care! I love everything they stand for!

I’m so honored to be apart of this family. They never judged me once for my past, but embraced the woman I’ve become. Just a great family driven business. Can’t wait for you guys to see what I have in store

  Nah, I’ve only seen a few impartial bloggers. Because of that they sometimes become targets of the celebs they trash. I think this blogger would do much better to drop the grudge. Let’s be honest, this whole article is the blogger shading K’s success. Do we think K cares? I don’t…she’s working to be a better person & Im sure this beef is deep in the past. One day it will be in the past for ATLien too.

  I agree with some of the others that are questioning why this blog post about her success and not want to call her by her correct artist name. That really sucks. It makes me think about how Azapea Banks does have a point about these “urban blogs” not really supporting black females and I’m not a fan of Banks or Michelle. However, my point is why can’t the blog writer be unbiased and just let the people form their own opinions in the comments sections? Are we so dumb that we need a shady blog writer to try to GIVE us OUR opinion while reading instead of just telling us the news and letting US think for OURSELVES or something?

Even when K.Michelle does something right, you still find a way to make it seem like she did something wrong. her endorsing liquor is somehow a negative but a post about another artist making liquor will be viewd as postive.
