Meet 22-year-old Ledarious Carmichael.

But here’s the thing… he traveled to the Dunwoody police station to bail his girlfriend out of jail, but ended up getting HIMSELF arrested after he walked into the police station reeking of marijuana!

When Ledarius Carmichael turned up at Dunwoody, Ga., police headquarters to bail out his girlfriend Monday, he had no idea he would be ‘trading places’ with his lady love!

According to the AJC, officers noted an “extremely strong smell of marijuana” when Carmichael showed up to bail out his girlfriend. Police then went to his car and found marijuana and “a loaded gun in plain view.”

Dunwoody Police officers were so stunned by the hapless 22-year-old’s actions that they posted the following tongue-in-cheek public service message on Facebook.

The lonely stoner was reportedly permitted to get his girlfriend out of jail before being booked in himself.

He’s been charged with theft by receiving, marijuana possession and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and as of Wednesday morning, he remained in custody.
