“A system can not fail those it was never built to protect”…
These words rang heavily as the flood disappointment resounded throughout Twitter after news spread that Darren Wilson would not be indicted for the shooting death of Michael Brown.

I myself already figured that the grand jury would not indict Wilson. However, some small gleam of hope prevailed. As a member of the NAACP I immediately called my local office to see if we would rally or protest but sadly my calls weren’t returned, and there was no updated information regarding that matter. I hope my local chapter can do a little better with a grass roots campaign.

Supermodel Cynthia Bailey of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was a vision in red as she took a turn on the ‘Watch What Happens LIVE!’ couch alongside Bevy Smith of ‘Fashion Queens‘ last night (November 30, 2014).
Eagles cornerback (and Atlanta native) Brandon Boykin, played bartender while host Andy Cohen drooled over him from afar.
Bailey & Smith, who have been friends long before they each appeared on Bravo, shared their take on the drama filled RHOA ‘Bury the Ratchet’ episode (click HERE if you missed it), and Bailey even confirmed the overall consensus that Kandi has earned the titled of ‘messy’ by playing the middle between the two opposing ‘teams’.

aka ‘Andre 3000′ of the legendary rap duo, Outkast is stepping back into the world of fashion
Outkast’s 20th anniversary tour sparked a bit of creative vision in Dre’ that led him to rock several custom jumpsuits, which displayed thought-provoking messages on his chest.

Now that the tour is over, Andre is taking his iconic jumpsuits to Miami, where he will collaborate with filmmaker Greg Brunkalla and painter Jimmy O’Neal for an exhibit presented by SCAD and the SCAD Museum of Art.
As a versatile artist in music, performance, fashion design, and film, André 3000 Benjamin has his finger on the pulse of contemporary culture. Benjamin’s identity as an artist took flight in the pages of a sketchbook he kept as a teenager, and he later rose to international fame as a member of the six-time Grammy-Award-winning musical group Outkast—the first hip-hop act to earn the coveted Album of the Year Grammy for 2004’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, which sold more than 11 million copies. Benjamin has been a longtime supporter of SCAD, particularly through the university’s Collaborative Learning Center, an interdisciplinary learning community that facilitates sponsored projects between SCAD students and external partners.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired the 4th episode of it’s explosive 7th season last night (November 30, 2014).
This week’s episode, entitled ‘Bury The Ratchet,’ solidified my ‘beauty vs. beasts’ theory as the ladies each met in ‘teams’ to discuss last week’s blowout between Cynthia Bailey & Porsha Williams.

We also got a new perspective on Todd Tucker’s involvement in Kandi Burruss’ business matters, via her ‘diva manager’ Don Juan, and we were also treated to more of the same ol’ Kenya Moore drama as the former beauty queen begged, pleaded and shed a few tears to get sympathy from RHOA viewers for Apollo Nida lying about ‘everything’.
[Sidebar: Despite what she said, Kandi’s eyebrow showed how she REALLY felt… 😆 ]
