The Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter honored single mother’s earlier this week through her Kandi Cares foundation, where she gave several families the groceries needed for a bountiful Thanksgiving day.
Kandi gave away fresh vegetables, canned goods and of course several turkeys and also gave thanks online to those who helped her Kandi Kares organization put it all together.

Kandi shared her thanks online, stating:
I just left my “Blessed To Be A Blessing” Thanks Giving dinner give away for my foundation @kandicares. We were able to give 50 families all their groceries to make sure they would have a great Thanks Giving dinner.
Thank you to #ICareAtlanta, #BlackCelebrityGiving, The City of College Park, Brady Recreation Center, & all the volunteers for working with #KandiCares to make this happen!
I want to say a big thanks to @chanitafoster who runs my foundation. In the few short months that’s she’s been working with me I’ve been able to step up my “giving” a Hundred percent! It made me feel good to be able to be there for all the families that reached out to us
