Usher Raymond posed above as he attended Fiji Water’s 9th Annual Pink Party Benefiting The Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Program a few days ago (October 19, 2013).
For the record, the superstar crooner has certainly been doing to most to improve his tarnished image these days.
If that Sesame Street appearance didn’t woo back female fans lost during Usher’s custody battle drama, he’s got even more good deeds ahead to impress you guys.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Usher is set to produce an educational documentary called ‘Undroppable’ which will explore the United States’ rising school drop out rates.
I knew Usher was very passionate about the issue of education, so I felt this was a great project to bring him into.
His expertise will be invaluable as we continue this film and movement.
Translation: “Usher needed some positive press and this certainly fits the bill.”
As you know, Usher and Braun have worked closely together launching the career of Bieber. Braun is a producer on the project, along with Adam McKay, Sharon Chang, Alex Soros and John Powers Middleton.
The project, written by Jason Pollack, will tackle the drop out issue from the point of view of students.
In addition to the film, producers have planned a social media campaign, giving students the chance to talk about the problems they face in school.
Undroppable wraps production this year and is scheduled to be released sometime in 2014.
It’s great that Usher is focusing on such a great cause!
