The former beauty queen, who was renting an Atlanta home for the sake of residency for the show, has been evicted from the Fulton county home for not paying the rent!
According to Radar Online, Kenya Moore will be looking for a new home to film in if she’s returns for season 6 of the reality show her landlord has sued to have her evicted from the $3999-a-month mansion in which she lives.
According to documents filed in Fulton County, Ga., Kenya failed to make the full rent payment for May — she was $848 short — and also defaulted on the terms and conditions of the lease.
The owner of the six-bedroom, six-bathroom home in the suburb of Roswell is now seeking rent for June, along with more $2500 in eviction fees and damages.
Neighbors say that Kenya is rarely home and also refer to the 42-year-old former Miss USA is the “neighbor from hell.”
The landlord, Conya Weems, has been inundated with complaints ever since Kenya moved in to the community specifically to film for the Bravo series.
“The sheriff’s department posted the notice on Kenya’s home last Thursday but she still doesn’t know that she has been evicted because she hasn’t been home yet,” a source in the neighborhood told RadarOnline.com.
“The homeowner is incredibly upset at what is unwanted attention that has been caused as a result of Kenya moving into the neighborhood,” the source said.
“Owners are concerned that the value of their properties are going down because she has not maintained the landscaping, nor the pool, has even storied furniture outside and her dog is always on the loose.”
Moore has until June 7 to respond to her landlord’s complaint.
As I revealed early on last season, Kenya was rumored to be facing severe financial difficulties prior to joining the popular reality show.
Once she earned a spot on the cast thought, she fought tooth and nail for that Bravo dough, even going as far as maintaining a fake relationship and stealing ideas from other cast members.

If you are going to short someone on the rent, why would you pay it at all. I don’t know when her rent is due, but it is just barely 30 days. Her lease must be up. Why wouldn’t the landlord contact her by phone first? Kenya did not film that much in the house.

If the owner was concerned about the lawn, she should have included it the lease payment and took care of it herself.
Normally, the owner takes out a security deposit for this type of issue (Tentant shorts payment). Kenya probably moved. It would appear the homeowner is not very bright!
The owner of the property is responsible to the Homeowners Association. It can not be legally transferred to the tenant.

Typically when you rent, the renter is responsible for lawn maintenance and basic upkeep of the house. I doubt the landlord needs attention. No doubt this is about collecting what’s legally hers. Besides, the landlord still has to pay the mortgage even if Kenya doesn’t pay the full amount. It’s still on her credit report, not Kenya’s. Radar Online states this is the second eviction effort, only Kenya paid up the first time. The notice also cites other violations of the lease. Wonder what those were? I have rental property and if you’re a day late, the penalty fees kick in. Kenya should pay her rent in full, on time. No excuse for financial irresponsibility. I’m sure the landlord is inconvenienced by having to make up the difference, not to mention impact to her credit rating.
So when the house is sitting empty, the landlord will have to come up with 100% of the money. It is possible that Kenya has already vacated the property. $848 is an odd amount. It is poosible that Kenya had to fix something and took it out of the rent money. Kenya has been there for over a year, so I’m sure the original lease is up. We don’t know the whole story.

Kenya went to far when she had that extravagant party. I know that it was very expensive to put that together and more than likely that put a big dent in her pockets. She wanted it to appear to people that she was the new big shot in Atlanta and now she is paying for it (or not paying for it). She didn’t/don’t have the kind of money to put on an event like that while living in a mansion. Hopefully she will learn that you have to live within your means.

I think that Kenya has a problem with some type of chemical that causes her skin to be as it is. It looks as if she is a reptile. She appears to have scales. I may be quite wrong, but I think that she has gotten injected with something that causes her skin to look that way. She should get a complete physical. She needs blood work done. If she is injecting something into her body, it has done something to her blood. I am not trying to hate on her in the least, but her skin is scary. You can not be beautiful with that skin condition. She is a Black woman of only 42 years, her skin should be smooth and remain smooth for at least another 20 years. I am 62 years old and my skin (up to this point) is not wrinkled at all. My father was 98 or 99 when he died and only had a very few wrinkles. All I am trying to say is that her skin problems are not natural for an African American of her age. JMO
I live across the street from her and have only seen her twice. She isn’t a problem neighbor, and her lawn looks fine. I have seen her dog running on the street, but it is a dead end street and she was in the front yard when he was running around. It is very easy to live by her. There are only 5 houses on the street, so I wonder if they actually ever spoke to any of us, or made it up.

It sounds like the homeowner is catching flack from the other homeowners in the neighborhood about the filming. Maybe to many wood be fans are touring their neighborhood and they want it to end. So the landlord will use any excuse necessary to have her evicted.

Kenya paid a prorata share of May rent. Kenya left the home and moved on. Landlord will have to make her own mortgage payment!
Why are people blaming the landlord?! There is no legally binding contract for some rent or a portion of the rent. It’s the full amount or your butt is in default! Stop making excuses for people’s piss poor behavior and lack of personal responsibility! Read the eviction notice. It’s for rent shortage and other violations of the lease. By the way, since she didn’t vacate she now owes for the month of June in amount of $3999. You cannot simply vacate a property without completing all legal obligations to include full duration of the lease or penalties for breaking the lease . So, now she owes the $848 plus June’s rent of $3999 and eviction fees. If this were untrue, Kenya would have pounced on a response. Even if Kenya doesn’t pay the full rental amount, the landlord is still responsible for the mortgage. It’s probably why she finally filed the legal paperwork. Who wants a deadbeat tenant?
