The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired it’s 18th episode of the 5th season last night (March 17, 2013) and the focus switched back to Kenya Moore and her fake ex-boyfriend Walter Jackson all over again.
This time around, Kenya recruits former Atlanta Falcons player Jamal Anderson to show and prove that she still has a few romantic options, however her ploy merely proves that she’s willing to do anything and everything to keep the drama going.

Moore’s fellow RHOA “newbie” Porsha Stewart sheds a few tears in this episode, as she and her “controlling” hubby discuss how her budding career will affect the chores she has at home.

Bravo’s synopsis of the episode:
After being teased by the women in Vegas about whether or not she’s pregnant, Porsha waits to take the test until she’s home in Atlanta with Kordell. NeNe travels to NYC for a whirlwind press tour to promote her sitcom, while Kandi’s stretched to the breaking point with renovations of both her business and her home.
Kenya thought she had extracted Walter from her life, but the men keep inviting him around; the talk soon turns ugly and rumors begin to fly.
It seems that the “rumors” Bravo referred to are flying directly from Kenya’s mouth as she once again spreads tales that Walter is on the “DL” or gay because she’s “never seen him aroused”.
I’ve known for quite some time what Moore was planning, but I had no idea she was going to be so blatant about it.
Kenya refers to Walter as a “stalker” in the episode because he’s invited to the same events, but it seems that she’s the one who’s all caught up in her feelings.
Walter admitted on more than one occasion that he was merely helping a friend in need by appearing on the show. Kenya desperately needed a job and she also needed a willing participant to play to role of her an so that she could land a spot on RHOA.
The deal is done and Bravo is protecting it’s investment in Kenya by intentionally keeping Walter quiet about the real deal, which is apparently why Jackson didn’t get invited to tell his side during the RHOA season 5 reunion show, which taped last week.

Next up is Porsha.
She finally took a pregnancy test and no… she was NOT pregnant. However, there was still quite a bit of tension between she and her “controlling” Kordell.
I’m sure he knows by now what Porsha’s “new friends” think of him, and he’s doesn’t seem too happy about it. Just for the record, I don’t think that Kordell is going to “LET” Porsha come back next season… especially since he’s been the topic of conversation amongst the cast for the past few episodes.
It also says a lot that Kordell was the only “house husband” who didn’t even bother to show up at the reunion show taping last week…

Did you see Kandi’s new house?!?
I bet Kim Zolciak (remember her?) dayum near choked on all her racist comments when she got a gander at Burruss’ new digs.
Kandi’s “ghetto” home sure does beat out that hand-me-down condo Kimmy is cooped up in with her new husband and all those kids huh??
But I digress…
It seems Phaedra and Kenya attempted to make amends (at least temporarily) after Moore invited all of the ladies to her upcoming costume extravaganza.

Yes im sick of it and I think she’s crazy…I said my peace:)
Two things I learned: Kandi’s home is GORGEOUS!!! I must say she is a true BUSINESSWOMAN, and seems very savvy with her finances; buying that home and renovating it as opposed to building a Chateau or purchasing an overpriced property was smart as hell. She always seems humble to me too.
The other thing I learned is that my favorite housewife is quickly becoming obnoxious, braggadocious (I know it’s not a word), and her tweet about the show seeming "childish" let’s me know somebody forgot what put her on the map! Wow, Ms.Leakes has gotten real Hollywood lately, and not in a good way. It’s probably her last season, since she’s been saying how she doesn’t have time for the show anymore. I defended her all season to my Twitter friends who said she was smelling herself but I’m afraid their right…give her a roll of Charmin cuz she thinks she’s the ¡%*\!
SO TRUE & SHE WAS STRAIGHT WRONG & REAL SHADY WHEN SHE TURNED HER RHOA LADIES AWAY FROM THE DINNER PARTY THAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY FOR THEM & WAS STILL ENTERTAINING HER HOLLYWOOD IM SURE NEW CAST MEMBERS. SHE SO FORGOT THE BOTTOM QUICK NOT HUMBLE AT ALL & HER HUSBAND IS THE SAME TOO COZ HE HAS SURE CHANGED & BECAME A GOLD DIGGER ASS KISSER TOO.
That’s right, and nobody respect a sellout. NeNe gone find out how cut throat Hollywood and "fans" truly are. Love you today, forget who you are/fake? Hate you tomorrow.
In NeNe’s defense I will say that nothing stays the same. If you know better, you do better. She has outgrown the show and it is childish. I just don’t like all the extra she is putting on and acting like she totally brand new.

she shouldn’t assume he is gay, however i will say this, to be in anguilla and have a woman that is ready to have sex with you and you not have sex with her at all in anguilla is nuts to me..i mean kenya has a nice figure and face, so what was really going on with walter? all i can say is wow….maybe he really wasn’t into her which sometmes it be that way i guess…never happ to me but hey…lol thats what happen when some women think too much of themselves.
What I learned is that Walter is an immature clown who is holding on dearly to his 15 minutes. At first glance the girl he came to the party with looked old too, but then I looked again and she just looked bored and ready to go.
Kenya’s new guy also looked young, bored uninterested in her and ready to go.
I like the idea of Kandi’s house(s) and think she was brilliant for buying them cash money, but I did not like the way it was hooked up decoration wise….
Kordel is extremely hard on the eyes and the faces he makes get on my nerves. It’s almost like he’s mocking Porsha when she talks sometimes with the expressions that he makes. I’m not quick to call somebody gay, but I can honestly see the influence of his mother, granny, aunts on him by some of his mannerisms. Even straight men raised by alot of women will often have their ways. I dont know…..Porsha is cool, but he’s irritating
I loved everthing about Kandi’s home. Usually when someone decorate their home…..they decorate with their favors and not what they think others may like……..
@koatedk, yeah, I know. The house itself is fabulous, but something about the decor just lacked cohesiveness. Does not look like a professional interior designer, one who is certified at least, did it IMO.Kandi is a penny pincher, so she probably got a bootleg decorator to do it….and to me it shows.

Kandi decorated the home herself I believe and let’s be real, the home is absolutely beautiful, but when decorating a home of that size, it would probably be in your best interest to hire a professional. It just didn’t seem to flow if that makes any sense at all. I’m not hating at all because I have made the transition from a smaller place to a larger place and damn was I shocked when I realized that my furniture from my little condo looked liked barbie doll furniture in my house.
As far as Walter….let’s just go back in time (not that far back, I’m not that old)….when I was a teenager, in what I thought was love, and my love broke my heart by dumping me, I started to workout more intensely, dressing a bit more provocative and started dating an older, much better looking guy. When I would get invited to a party that I knew my ex was going to be at, I would of course go, to show off how good I looked, and how much better my new men looked. After a while though, it became evident to my new man, old man, and pretty much everyone around me what I was doing..then I just looked pathetic….sort of like Walter. There are far too many events going on in Atlanta for him to keep showing up at the events that he thinks Kenya is going to be attending…which leads me to believe that he was lying or perhaps stretching the truth as far as him and Kenya’s arrangement was concerned.
I actually liked Kandi’s decor but I agree with you on Walter 100%. He seems so bitch made to me. Then he must show up with a date at the next event because Kenya showed up with one at a previous event? Also what man stands in the corner and gossips about a woman like that? He just has the old man in the club vibe and his love of "rim"-age women only enhances that. I wish Kenya would stop with the dramatics concerning him b/c he isn’t even worth all that.

Love love love Kandi’s house ESP. The kitchen. The design of the house is FAB. Kandi’s decor does very little to showcase it sadly. Kim’s decor way out shines Kandi’s. (I’m no fan of Kim). The house decor is definitely Kandi, she needs a stylist in the worst way for her and her homes. I don’t understand why Phaedra and Kandi can’t understand how dreadful they look on camera.

The two things I learned from this episode of RHOA is that Porsha thinks her stint on the show and collecting canned good for the homeless 265 days of the yr equates to an actual "career" and all the things "Walter the Walrus" said about Kenya must have some truth to it if she gets so damn FLUSTERED every time she hears his name or sees him out at an event!
And for a man who bragged about likin younger chicks, that NEANDERTHAL Walter brought to Kandi’s house warming party was far from "youthful!" I felt so bad for her when Walter left her sittin there munchin on a sum week old humus and crackers!

I could be wrong but I have a feeling that Walter brought a ghetto woman as his date in case anything went down with Kenya. 1.) So done with Phaedra and Apollo. How childish to invite someone to Kandi’s home, knowing that somethign is going to pop off. Not very "christian-like" or "southern-belle" if you ask me. Apollo is such a mess and I hope Kenya destroys them both at the reunion. Immature clowns. They are so hurt that Kenya went on to make her own workout DVD without them, so they will do anything to get back at her. They both seemed a little hurt to see Kenya show up with an NFL player…thus Phaedra chasing after him to say hi. Girl he was paying you no attention. Claims she knows everybody. Get your life! I guess Apollo was hurt because as long as Kenya was dating a "nobody" like Walter, he thought he had a shot. 2) So glad that Kordell shut Walter down when he brought his pettiness over to the table. Go cater to your fake eyelash, 12 pounds of makeup-wearing date. Ok looking girl, but she had nothing on Ms. USA. And can his barber please line his hair correctly? Damn! He looked so out of place at the house-warming.
3) For the 100th time, Kordell is not controlling. As cute as Porsha is (I actually enjoy her on the show), she’s dumb as a box of rocks and Kordell knows that she’s not ready to have a baby. A baby is not an accessory that you throw to the Nanny whenever you get tired of it. And until she loses that frame of mind, I agree with Kordell that she is incapable of handling a baby and a "career" at the same time. And other folks need to keep their nose out of this marriage. What works for them is their business.

Phaedra and Apollo did not invite Walter, Todd did. That is why Kandi said, this is my house, Todd house and Riley’s house. Todd can invite who he wants to our house. Walter let Apollo know that he was coming and they just did not say anything.

Yes The New Normal is kind of unwatchable expect for the little girl, Ellen Barkin and the fine a$$ John Stamos. I prefer the Mindy Project. I think that more people would watch the show if Nene was replaced with a real actress. I liked Nene as Coach Roz on Glee but with this Rocky character she is over-acting which speaks volumes since she’s actually playing herself. LOL.

Um, Kenya has a hair care line she’s developing and other projects she’s working on outside of this show. Those others ones don’t have a lot going on either from what I’ve seen. Everything that Kenya has said in her interviews in the past is NOW making sense after watching last night’s episode! Walter is a thirsty, fame whore looking for his 15 minutes and he was just using Kenya to get some air time! I’m glad Bethanny shut that gay a** man down! Wow…what can I say about Faketra and Apollo…they are truely one of a kind…I can’t wait for them to be exposed FOR GOOD! Now that I have watched the episode in its entirety, I can sum up everyone on the show in one world….MESSY!!! Please allow me to elaborate:
Kandi-Amazing home…decor doesn’t mesh well with the structure itself and as I mentioned in another post, she should have hired a interior designer and not the sales person at Z gallerie….nothing against the place but that stuff doesn’t belong in a million dollar home….yes, I know Kandi did not pay one million, but that’s because she got it for a steal. I usually don’t like to even bring up the kids, but I cannot NOT comment on Riley’s weight gain…she doesn’t need a stage, but perhaps an investment in a personal trainer or dietician. And why did she look at Cynthia like "what the hell are you talking to me for?" I think this poor little girl needs a slice of humble pie…
Nene-uhmmmm, not gonna lie, fast -forwarded through her scenes…at this point she a non-factor this season…good luck in Hollywood
Phaedra/Apollo- It is obvious who plays what role in this relationship, Phaedra wears the pants over her two pairs of spanx and Apollo is definitely wearing the panties…perhaps that is why he felt it necessary to ask Walter if he was gay or not. To me, a straight man would never call up someone and ask that unless they were fishing. Maybe letting him know that is what Kenya is saying, but do not ask if it is true. Meanwhile, why the hell does Phaedra "go way back" with every celebrity in Atlanta. She comes off as the one chick that guys would just pass around from time to time for an easy lay….the girl that remembers all the guys but the guys rarely remember her.

I agreed with the exception of Riley. Riley is chubby because her mother doesn’t not cook healthy meals. Remember the powdered Ice Tea from a can. Kandi, Todd and Riley as a family need to take some cooking classes from a real chef. Can someone at Bravo write that script? Sorry about the rant. I’m just uncomfortable when people talk about a child’s weight when is painful obvious that the parent in not provide healthy meals. Maybe when Riley is a teen she might figure it out healthy eating on her own because she ain’t learning at home.

Cns, I blame the parent as well. When I said she needed a slice of humble pie, it was because she has showed in other episodes that she feels like she has an entitlement to mom’s wealth, i.e, wanting to move into the guest house at 16, helicopter rides for her bday. Just because mom has money, does not mean you have money. I know plenty of wealthy families, and I can point out all of the children that were given everything their heart desired and the children that had to work for what they wanted, your last name is not a birthright to mommy and daddy’s hard earned money. I just refuse to sit idle and watch my child blow up because I am too lazy or too busy to take care of her health. Not only is it a very unhealthy way of life, it will lead to her being teased by other children…you think some of the people that respond to this blog is mean, that have nothing on kids in middle school.
ITA, but I will say that most of the children who feel entitled are because their parents have indulged them all their life. Riley is an only child to a wealthy mother. Kandi is known as being financially generous with all of her lovers so I am not surprised by Riley feeling entitled as well. Kandi needs to nip that in the bud before her teen years but it’s kind of hard when you have indulged for a decade.
In Riley’s defense if my mother was moving another stranger into our home I would want to live elsewhere as well. It’s already awkward for some kids to see their own parents showing affection so I can image how Riley would feel seeing her mother make out in their home with yet another stranger. Hi New2daA, it is great that anyone else get alone with jet black females, but I tried to be nice again and again to very dark skinned females and they envy, and have very nasty attitudes. I have had very few problems with lighter skinned women compared to jet black women, and I did not turn this into an issue of race ok, I only commented about my friends being light skinned. The point I was making to Walter is to proove that he is not all that, thinking he can get whatever female he want of the younger ages he stated, that is how my friends came into my comment and not all women are catty, no one woman has been around every woman in the world, and if anyone felt like what I stated about light skinned offended them, they should have asked me why I stated that, don’t assume that I’m making a race issue. Well I was raised within a humble working class family and neighborhood. I have never been Ghetto because Ghetto is a state of mind. Hi, someone told me about this website and the ongoing comments over Walter, somehow he tells me about a comment a lady made about Walter but lead to an race issue. I have read blessed41 comment and all comments, I hold a degree in Anthropology and I understand exactly where blessed41 was coming from, the lady was making it clear that Walter is not so much of himself, is why she used her girlfriends of complexion with beauty showing Walter he is not all that. I am a very very darkskinned female and I have been around too many darkskinned females with an nasty attitude, you people that made the comments toward blessed41 should be ashamed, the lady never said nothing to an extinct of race, the ones that responded to her turned it into a race issue, and there are only four main races Austroloid, Caucascoid, Mongoloid, and Negroid, the ones that had a problem with what the lady said have no class, you did not understand the example of her comment, and I also saw a comment of someone saying there are ten black races, you idiot! tell me what the ten black races are. That lady should not have wasted her time explaining nothing to you people.

Please state the name of the university you attended (did you graduate?) so that people who are looking to gain valuable life experiences as well as book smarts can ensure that they DO NOT apply for admission. Even little children in pre-school can grasp the concept of not judging an entire group of people based on the way that they look. Nothing either of you two girls (yes girls) can say justifies that having light-skin is the definition of beauty; nor that dark-skin is a guarantee for having a bad attitude. Back to part of the issue at hand about Walter’s sexuality. It’s pathetic when someone is not sexually interested in you and you label them as gay. Just wrong. Some people have moral integrity, and just don’t feel right sleeping around to prove a point. Another is they’re not sexually attracted to you because you’re really their friend. A man can always tell if a beautiful woman in particular is loose by how she is offended if he doesn’t want to have sex with her, it’s a glimpse into her sex life of how she’s been chopped down. Because most men are immature thinking with their penis, and will jump at a chance to screw a gorgeous woman quick.

Rawhunee, you hit the nail on the head with that one…and it damn there hurts to say that perhaps Walter’s actions or lack there of in this particular case it justified. Many physically attractive women, definitely those who feel as if they are attractive to everyone who sees them cannot grasp the idea that someone may not be attracted to them sexually….it happens. Just because it happens does not mean the other person is homosexual, the chemistry just isn’t there.
