Former ‘Real Housewife of Atlanta’ Sheree Whitfield is no stranger to court proceedings and she’s taken her beef with bloggers to the courtroom this week.

Whitfield first entered the news after filing a TPO (Temporary Protection Order) against Tamara Brawner (aka TamaraTattles), accusing the blogger of stalking her uninhabitable structure.
She then reportedly headed to the courthouse a week later to file the same against me (Michelle Brown) and Quintin Latham (aka Funky Dineva).
Dineva thought it was hilarious and wrote about it in a long winded response on his site. I, on the other hand, don’t like court, so I don’t take kindly to the fact that Sheree chose to utilize a courtroom in an attempt to ‘restrain’ free speech.

I still haven’t been served with any legal documentation or notice to attend court and neither has Funky Dineva. However, Tamara faced Whitfield in court on Monday and the former ‘housewife’ was shot down yet again….
Tamara hit her blog with details of the proceedings immediately after it’s completion, stating:
In court this afternoon, the judge heard both sides of the case. I explained that I went to Chateau Sheree and took some pictures on one occasion. I testified that I had never seen Sheree anywhere ever; nor had I ever attempted to contact her in any way. I also explained I was given permission by the men in physical control of the site to enter the property. I also mentioned that Sheree does not own said property.

Sheree testified that she was afraid for her life. She stated that I was parked outside her property at all hours of the day and night. Under questioning, she was unable to state any time that I had threatened her or harassed her.
She admitted that she was not the property owner.” Sheree also admitted to letting the blueprints, location, and home be shown on RHOA.
Whitfield called a witness named Jason Lapene, who apparently is Whitfield’s latest sponsor. Lepene is a real estate developer who runs “Dwell Atlanta,” but in court claimed to be Whitfield’s web designer/shoulder to cry on.
Tamara reports:
He said that he knows Sheree because he “did a website for her.” Sheree claimed in her testimony that he is the person who investigated to determine the owner of Tamaratattles.com.
He then said he was a real estate developer. He testified that Sheree would call him very late at night crying and scared for her life. He also testified that he had staked out my house in order to determine if it was a “servable address” (presumably for a TPO). I dunno what he even means by that or how a web designer would have any involvement in serving a TPO. I was served by the sheriff.
Basically, it seems to me he is some guy that knows Sheree because I can’t see Sheree calling a web designer, or a real estate person at midnight crying. One would think a police officer or 911 would be a better option if one was fearful. His testimony was very odd. It appeared that Sheree’s attorney called him to testify about her “fears.” I know, I don’t get it either. And it’s kind of creepy he is hanging around my house. (READ FULL POST)
At the end of it all – The judge ruled that there was nothing to support a stalking protective order. Sheree’s request was denied.
Now… for the tea.
As you know, I’ve always maintained that it’s Sheree’s goal to STAY front & center in the public. Well now she’s prepping to appear on Iyanla Vanzant‘s ‘Fix My Life’ to discuss her life after the housewives and her goals in moving forward with her life.
According to the press release:
On April 20, Vanzant works with Whitfield on her relationship with ex-husband and former NFL player Bob Whitfield, who she battled in numerous episodes of RHOA. The two actually sit down together to hash out their problems, discuss co-parenting and reveal how they truly feel about each other.
Needless to say, all of this ‘blogger drama’ was masterfully crafted to get her name out in the world again.
When Sheree’s contract with The Real Housewives of Atlanta ended last year, there was a non-compete agreement which stated that she could not do any other reality television programing for at least 1 year after the last air date of the season. That happened to be April 8, 2012. (See where I’m going with this?)
Anywhoo… Whitfield started her master plan at least a month prior to the ending of her non-compete agreement so that she could get the word out and it’s working. Bravo Sheree! *standing O*
Just like Sheree told me in the beauty shop that day after she got caught taking that snapshot of me… ‘all press is good press’ – which was what we had discussed years ago during her first season on the show.

I wrote all of that to say this… don’t believe the hype! Then again, believe it! Hell I dunno… I just think it would be a shame for all that good PR to go waste AND if Whitfield’s riding our bus, we may as well continue to ride her’s.

RO’s are for threats against safety and harassment. When I sought one against my neighbor years ago, she accused me of: 1) ringing her doorbell & running at 3am numerous times, 2)following her & her daughter in my car and threatening them, 3)sitting on my porch drinking liquor/cursing out people. Told the judge I’ve been a neighborhood menace since I moved in. My proof? 1)Letter from the alderman me and my neighbors mtg with him, 2)Letter from the police chief stating that she’s "well acquainted" w/the PD, 3)Letters from various neighbors, 4)Pics of my keyed car.
That’s what judges are looking for.

The property with the existing house was originally purchased in Sheree’s mother’s name. Sheree then "bought" it from her mother for $1 and six months later "sold" it to Tierra for $1. This information is in the Fulton County property records.
