[FLASHBACK: In Remembrance: WATCH: The Last Days of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes (FULL MOVIE)]
The network plans a full-length TV movie based on the life and times of R&B/hip-hop group and you’ll never believe who they’ve locked down to play the roles!

In the film, entitled “Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story,” VH1 has secured two relatively known actresses and one rapper/talent show judge to portray the iconic girl group.
Drew Sidora (“Step Up,” “Wild Hogs,” “The Game”) has been cast as Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lil Mama (“America’s Best Dance Crew”) will take on the role of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and KeKe Palmer (“Akeela & The Bee,” “True Jackson VP,” “Joyful Noise”) will portray Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas.
Charles Stone III (“Drumline,” “Paid in Full,” “Mr. 3000″) is set to direct the biopic, which is was penned by screenwriter Kate Lanier (“What’s Love Got To Do With It,” “Set it Off,” “Beauty Shop”).
“With this cast, we are thrilled with the talent assembled both in front of and behind the cameras,” stated Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Production, VH1.
“TLC are truly music pioneers and this movie is a fantastic way to expand our scripted push by combining our audience’s passion for music with their love of story. We know our viewers will be eager to go beyond the headlines and into the surprisingly personal, never before told stories of these groundbreaking women.”
The two surviving members of the group, Chilli and T-Boz, have reportedly signed on as consultants and executive producers for the movie.
The film is scheduled to begin shooting next month in Atlanta.

Keke Palmer will be great as Chilli. They have similar features…as a matter of fact, she’s the only person cast who resembles the person she’s portraying.

The cast is dead on, I can envision each person as the character, as a fan of TLC,will be watching!!!
I just don’t see it for Drew Sidora…T-Boz’s swag is so ill, and on film, Drew comes across as very pretentious to me-something T-Boz is not. KeKe can play anyone, her acting skills are so good, and I believe Lil Mama will do Left Eye justice.
I agree. I’m going to give them a chance but Drew wasn’t my favorite on The Game, White Chicks, that gmc play but I still watch her since these are my favorite movies and channels.

I actually think Chilli couldve played herself. She hasnt changed a bit! T boz has been battling her illness which caused her a bit of weigh gain but Chilli should play herself!
I believe Lil Mama can pull it off as Left Eye…Keke is a pretty good choice for Chilli, especially since she can actually sing as well so thumbs up there. I know absolutely NOTHING about Drew Sidora. Nothing about her brings T-Boz to mind though. It’ll be interesting to see the promo pics with these three in make up for their roles. I’ll probably check out the movie to see how they did too *shrug*
I have never seen Lil Mama act but the other two ladies have shown their acting abilities to be up to par. Lil Mama is talented so I’m sure she will do well. I will be watching.

Of Lisa. Keke can play anybody, she is certified with those acting skills, and she is bigger than the role and would’ve brought light to the roll of Left Eye.
I believe Drew will pull it off, because she’s an actress.
But when you put their picture together they favor. Lil mama was a great pick and she can actually rap so why not

Can’t wait to see the movie. It’s so ironic how Left Eye always swore that she was that special spice that made that group what it was. At the time, most chuckled at the notion, but apparently she was spot on.

I think KeKe is gonna do an AMAZING job as Chili, they do favor each other more than the rest of the cast. I have never seen Lil MaMa act so I’m iffy about her capabilities, but I wish her the best!
Now whose lap did Drew Sidora have to sit on to get the role as T-Boz? I just can’t imagine Drew pullin that character off after watchin her "work" on The Game (sigh). I’m happy that there will FINALLY be a movie about TLC so I’m excited!
Lil’ Mama will look completely different with black hair and black eyes. Lisa’s eyes were like black pools. Definitely noticable feature. Kiki will be better than Chili was. And I’m always glad to see a newcomer as TBoz.
Lil Mama is going to surprise a lot of people and kill it as Left Eye. She’s got that same misunderstood energy going on like Left Eye did. It’s a good chance for her to kickstart her career. Also, most don’t know she’s a triple threat(sing/rap, dance and act)…..KeKe should do well. The Drew chick I have to reserve judgement on. Don’t know her work too well. They can all dance, act and sing. It should turn out well. Good luck Ladies! Leave the haters wanting more.. I’ll be watching.

I’m glad that they picked Lil Mama as Left Eye. I think she has talent and this will put her in the spotlight again. I always thought Lil Mama was a good rapper, but her songs didn’t fit her voice. I heard her freestyling on 106th & Park one time and she did really well. KeKe will be good but I wonder if she can be sassy like Chili lol. As for Drew..mmm they coulda picked somebody else. Either way, I’m excited to see it!
Keke looks nothing like Chili. Chili is pretty with natural long hair and coca brown skin and Keke just aint it. Plus her voice is awful. She sounds like an old woman when she talks.
Lil Momma looks nothing like Left Eye but I get that because she is a rapper they thought it would work.
Drew Sidor as TBoz is just disgraceful. This woman really needs to stick to her gospel channel plays. Even her appearance on The Game was bland.
Why couldn’t they jyst gave hired unknowns? Aspiring singers and dancers who at least bore SOME resemblance to the women of TLC.

First off i was not happy about the cast for lil momma and t boz….. But keke has proved herself…i dont think drew is a good fit..AT ALL BECAUSE WE HAVENT SEEN ANYTHING THAT COULD PASS AS A T BOZ FEEL AND LIL MOMMA MAY PASS BECAUSE SHE CAN DANCE AND RAP BUT ..ACTING???We shall see!!!
I havent been a fan of kekes singing but her acting skills are really good but then again chilli wasnt that great of a singer….t boz was amazing and that voice NO ONE CAN TOUCH !!! I think they need to rethink Lil Mama as Left Eye like I said before ALL the TALENT in ATLANTA that they bypassed. DAMN did they even look before they gave lil mama that role ?!?!?!?! I like the other ladies but they could of did better with Left Eye Role they couldn’t find one of left eye’s cousin to do this ? I cant stand LiL Mama uggggh she came out with that one song glossy lips or whatever and it made us pop for two sec
