I’m not one to gossip, so you didn’t hear this from me…. but I heard that Lisa isn’t doing too well financially these days.
When Lisa first appeared on RHOA, she had just lost custody of her two sons to ex-husband, singer Keith Sweat.
Having rushed into a 2nd marriage with former pro-footballer Ed Hartwell, Lisa portrayed herself as a successful career woman with several budding businesses; a real estate firm called Hartwell and Associates, a jewelry line called Wu Girls, a T-shirt line called Hart 2 Hart Clothing, a women’s clothing line called Closet Freaks, and a baby clothing line called Hart 2 Hart Baby.
Needless to say, none of those businesses exist today and Lisa, whose 2nd husband, Ed Hartwell, divorced her last year, has been struggling to find her way every since.

According to SandraRose, Lisa appeared at the Bronner Brothers Hair Show rocking a pair of $1,600 Giuseppe Zanotti’s Fire-Wing sandals (designed by Kanye West).
Fans of the ex-reality show starlet rushed to capture the moment on film and many noticed her appearance and immediately inquired if Wu was with child yet again.
While I’m not all up in Wu’s womb, my sources say that Lisa’s been working hard and if she looks “different” it’s simply due to her being on the grind.
[Sidebar: Lisa started a lip-gloss line last year and has also been building her resume as an actress, gaining bit parts in several unreleased feature films.]

Miss Wu (or is it Millette?) premiered her new look during the hair show and is said to be anxiously anticipating her return to the spotlight.
Lisa revealed to CottonCandyMag a few weeks ago that acting is where she started and she actually prefers it to “reality” tv:
I was actually an actress before [The Real Housewives of Atlanta.] The RHOA producers in the first season wouldn’t allow me to say that.
At the time, in the first season, they wanted real people. They didn’t want Hollywood types. It didn’t happen until after the second season. And then they were like, “Oh, now you can act.” And I was like, “Wow. They came out of the blue with this.”
But I actually started out acting. Back in 2000 I wrote a stage play that Tyler Perry directed. So I’ve been into acting and television for almost 20 years.
That kinda almost substantiates everyone’s theory that “realty” shows are scripted… but whatEv. Acting or not… they are all “drama queens” anyway.

I used to think Lisa was quite attractive…her face is now almost unrecognizable. The drug/alcohol-induced-swollen look is not working for her. Or maybe it’s the ‘grind’ she’s on…either way: NO.

Lisa look really different..I’m not sure if it’s the puffy face or bangs. The bangs is aging her badly..she need big hair or wear it back. Overall,it’s good to see her smile and that’s not easy to do when you’re going through.

Every time I read about these wannabe celebs announced I have started a shoe line, dress line, jewelry line, lipstick line, food line, drink line, etc. it does not impress me at all. What impress me is when their various lines give the public a good product they can use, not priced over the top AND bringing in an abundant return for them.
We always hear about their lines when they start out but we never hear anything after that…good or bad. The only exception I know is Betheny Frankel.

I wasn’t really a viewer of "RHOA" when she was a cast member, but am I the only one who didn’t know that Lisa Wu isn’t her birth/government name? LOL!!!
Yo Lisa looks great, I will admit some of these photos don’t look the best but I have seen her in person and she doesnt look "Puffy" or drugged out you people who judges on looks are beyond shallow, like you havent had a day where you didnt look your sundays best.
As far as her money issues are concerned Michelle why don’t you just ask her straight up is she broke or not anyone can say shes broke but unless you have PROOF then it pretty much falls on deaf eyes and blind eyes, shes no longer on RHOA why even bother in the first place.
One last thing I think her lip gloss line is doing quite well, when I was in NYC she had her ad out in Times Square and I don’t think any other housewife current or former has had an advertisment there before.

Lisa Wu is her real name! Sharon Millette is her real name, too. No one calls her Sharon in her personal life. Sharon Millette Wu, but she goes by Lisa and has way before RHOA.
As for her weight gain, I think it was the outfit. Her legs are too short for those shoes with that skirt and that jacket had to much shoulder weight. Have a look at her stomach, it looks pretty flat to me. Her face does look puffy, but I think that nasty make up and those nasty bangs are to blame. Some people need to show their forehead. The bangs are cutting too much of her face off and making you focus on other things. The lipstick was to bold for the bangs. She needs to not wear bangs.
As for her finances, I am sure she is connected enough not to have to worry too much. Her shoes are quite expensive, so she must have some money somewhere.
Shame on people who make nasty comments about aging women. If you are lucky you too will age. Just hope that you look as good in your 40′s as she does.
Lisa Millette Wu is a beautiful girl on the outside… She has always suffered from her weight, but she loses it very fast. She is a very fit person and likes to work out.
