Rapper 2Chainz (real name Tauheed Epps) wasn’t feeling the love in Maryland after he had to spend a bit of time in the clink last night! (February 14, 2013)
That’s right… the Hair Weave Killer spent his Valentines Day in jail.
2 Chainz was reportedly arrested while enroute to a show at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) and he share his encounter with authorities online as it was happening.
Details + photos below…
According to 2 Chainz’ twitter, he and his camp were pulled over and searched as they were traveling to his UMES show. Apparently authorities discovered a weed grinder in the vehicle and promptly arrested 2Chainz for possession drug paraphernalia!
As you know, this isn’t the first time 2Chainz has had a run-in with police. Just last year he was arrested in NYC for possessing what a ring that authorities thought were brass knuckles.

As for this situation, 2Chainz tweeted that his security stepped up to take the charge for him but the authorities weren’t buying it…
All’s well that ends well though… 2Chainz eventually made it to his concert and still managed to rock the crowd.
At least he made it to his show in time!
