Porsha Stewart played host to her husband Kordell’s “Harlem Nights” themed 40th birthday party, which was featured during last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Attendees to Porsha & Kordell’s event included Kandi Burruss and her boo Todd Tucker, Cynthia Bailey and her husband Peter Thomas, Walter Jackson and Celebrity hairstylist Derek J.
Porsha recently shared a few behind the scenes photos from the event, which was held last October in Atlanta.
For the record, the RHOA “newbie” doesn’t really care what y’all think about the way Kordell barks at her, in fact, she’s quite content with it.

Porsha is doing damage control, I couldn’t be the only one who peeped a few scenes that showed what her marriage may be like. Kordell cam off as controlling, and it seemed that Porsha tenses up when dealing with her husband!!!

Oh I hate wwhen Porsha speaks, it’s so damn annoying. I noticed that too. I kept flipping back from the Nat’L Geographic channel and to RHOA. I happen to see the scene where Kordell told Porsha that she has to check that. Porsha is just one of those women that will put up with anything for money and having marital status.

She’s probably one of those that went from her parents’ house to her husband’s. She wants to just be a housewife, or so it appears. Evidently this is what she wants. A lot of us independent women can’t see doing it, but that is because of our life experiences. Having said that, if that is the life she wants to live, why begrudge her of that? I didn’t say dumb yourself, it’s a difference in being dumb and respectful to your husband. I have a career, an education, and a HUSBAND, which is different than having a man. See, having a man is only having someone who puts the D down and caters to your needs to reap the benefits. A HUSBAND takes care of home, make sure you’re safe, and sets the guidelines of how his house and family is run. He goes to church with you, prays with you and always have your best interest at heart because his WIFE doesn’t disrespect him in front of others. Just a small lesson for some of you women who don’t know how to keep your mouth shut and let your man be the man. That’s how GOD wants it. I’m not saying bow down, because I don’t do that to my husband, but when we get behind closed doors I voice my opinions and say what I need to say.
