Keri Hilson posed for the photo above as she lent a helping hand for Gillette’s launch of its “Kiss & Tell” national experiment to prove that ladies prefer a smooth-shaven kiss versus a stubbled one.
MissKeriBaby joined L.A. couples at the Santa Monica Pier as they put their lips to the test. The results of the social experiment will be announced on Valentine’s Day.
On a related note, love is in the air and while it’s no secret that Hilson was once dubbed Beyoncé’s number one hater, in a recent interview, she attempts to squash the rumors.

It was rumored that Hilson co-wrote Beyonce’s hit song “DIVA” and planned to release the song herself. Apparently Beyonce went ahead with her version and it caused animosity between the two, sparking Hilson’s infamous “diss” in the lyrics on her remix to “Turnin’ Me On”.
She can sing, but need to move it ‘to the (left)’ / She need to go have some babies / She needs to sit down, she fadin’… / Go ‘head and tell them folks how long I been writing your songs / I been puttin you on, just check the credits.

Clearly fans thought the words were directed at Queen B. and it’s been downhill for Hilson ever since.
Well apparently Hilton now insists that her supposed Beyoncé beef never existed. In fact, Keri says she’s never beefed with any other female artist.

“No, I don’t have a beef with any female artist. I think it’s just interesting that we live in such a gullible world. Anything that’s written, anything that is posted, and a picture that is interpreted one way, is truth. It’s like bible now. You can Photoshop something, put it out and everyone believes it,” Hilson explains.
Hilson goes on to express how hurtful all the gossip can be.
“I’m human and it is hurtful. It’s not okay to make up something about someone, in their personal lives especially. Professionally, fine. Scrutinize me all you want, I know I can’t please everyone. But personally, let’s just leave it alone, it’s going too far,” she added.
Looks like Queen B musta hit Hilson where it hurts… her pockets! Either that or all of those Beyonce stans that have been attacking her for years have finally gotten the best of her.

It’s got to be difficult feeling “some kinda way” after writing a hit song for someone who clearly doesn’t give you the time of day. Hopefully Keri truly is over her broken heart it all and has moved on.

Keri just haven’t been the same since she dissed Beyonce. I know they black balled her in the industry but damn she don’t even look as good as she use to. We are now in a warped reality where if certain singers aren’t worshipped daily, people create a problem.
I, for one am a loyal fan. My favorite female artists are the same favorite female artists that have been my favorites since I grew up to their music in the 90’s. Those ladies- Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton, and Janet Jackson are still my favorites to this day, even though they don’t release projects that frequently.
My love for those artists does NOT equal me throwing shade on another artist.
As for the magazine incident, 1. I think it was a set up 2. If someone handed you a picture of someone else on a magazine cover while you are on the red carpet, most of the people on the site would have done something similar to what Keri did. What was she supposed to do? Stop on her way to an event that she was probably either nominated for and presenting for and stop dead in her tracks and start talking about how wonderful someone else is? That would be both awkward and weird.
I really wonder about some of these “fans”. Some of these singers have balls to the wall vicious “fans” that will go so far as to issue borderline threats if said singer isn’t worshipped.
Does anyone remember about 10 years ago when you could actually have a favorite singer or favorite band that differed from your neighbor’s favorites, and not only was this okay but it was encouraged because you would share your cds with them, etc.?

I personally don’t worship Beyonce. Didn’t really even give her props til she featured on Luther’s CD. Then I saw "Check Up On It". And by the time ‘Cadillac Records’ rolled around, it wasn’t just Etta’s obvious hit, it was "I’d Rather Go Blind" that put her in a league of her own.
I’m still trying to figure out with social media and YouTube how you can be banned from the industry. There is so much untapped talent out there that if the industry puppets don’t want to work with you find an unknown songwriters, singers and producers to work with. What is the industry going to banned them too? Can you ban unknown talent? This is why young Black artists aren’t taking seriously. They are only interested in working with people at the top. Well when you clear out all the smoke and mirrors those people at the (so-called) top ain’t really all that great either. Heck when you get lemons, made lemonade.
