Ms. Parks looked mighty classy as she mingled amongst the politicos in DC during the 57th Presidential Inauguration which also happened to be Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday weekend… and speaking of “classy,” Parks kept it cute when she blogged earlier this week about she and Kenya Moore’s ‘Donkey Booty Battle’.

Phaedra spills details about she and Apollo’s decision to utilize a more experienced production company and reveals that their already on her next workout video.

This Monday was the commemoration of two historical events, the national holiday in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday and the 57th Presidential Inauguration.
While both events celebrate the accomplishments of outstanding Americans, it was very poignant that the second inauguration of the first African American President fell on the birthday of African American civil rights leader and fellow Atlantan Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. whose mantra was “all men are created equal.”
As I sat in my white folding chair listening to President Obama’s address to the nation, I realized how proud I am to be an American where everyone has the opportunity to excel if they are willing to work hard.
Whether you agree with President Obama’s platform or not you have to agree that it is a blessing to live in a democratic nation where everyone has a voice, choices, and the ability to vote.
In this week’s episode, my husband and I made some choices. After meeting with several production companies, we chose to use Watch it Now (WIN) to produce our Phine Body workout video series.
After meeting with Will Hobbs and Darren Capik and reviewing their extensive resume, we decided they were the most qualified company. They are one of America’s leading fitness video production companies touting sales of over 30 million fitness videos a year.

This fact along with their equally impressive client list, which includes notable fitness icons such as Jane Fonda, Billy Blanks, Suzanne Somers, and Tara Stiles, assured me that they were the perfect company for us.
Surprisingly, we were able to do two videos for less than the price Kenya quoted us for one. Even with the lower production rate and better expertise, they never asked for a back end percentage or any ownership in our video], but most importantly, the production was seamless.
They effortlessly worked out all the details with no drama, which was quite refreshing. Their customer service and staff were equally as professional.

Yep, Kenya was trying to goop the children, but at the same time, Miss Phaedra "High Class" Parks needs to stop playing the victim, because truth be told Sheree was the one who first brought up the idea of a fitness video. Remember when she was running around trying to get everybody to work out, and trying to make that green juice Kim turned her nose up at?
Fitness was supposed to be Sheree’s avenue to create a revenue stream, but Phaedra suddenly and quite out of the blue picked up the fitness angle once Sheree got fired and no longer has a platform. Way to hustle Miss Parks! Now where the hell is Willie Watkins? *NeNe Leakes voice*
And sheree has the body that looks like she works out. Phadrea on the other hand umm no. And even Apollo um no. And fitness and the President’s inauguration just really should be address separately to be called classy. That’s my opinion tho.
Ya’ll need to stop. People that work out come in all shape and sizes. If your 300 pounds sitting on your couch and you pop in that video you may see some results. Everyone can not look like an adonis. Everyone who is just beginning can not start with the "Insanity Workout." I work in several gyms and motivating folk to work out is HARD. I applaud them for putting together an easy workout to get people started. Kudos.
I don’t think Phaedra’s fitness video was "out of the blue". I also don’t think she is biting Sheree. Phaedra is only capitalizing on the phrase she coined last season. Her donkey booty was the topic of conversation whenever she was interviewed. Phaedra’s smart in making the most of her 15 minutes of fame.

Phaedra has class and it is respected. She could have been real bitter and said some negative things about that other woman, but she didn’t cause she’s a lady.. Good for her… Sooooooo lets recap, Mrs. Phaedra’s a lady, she has money in the bank, she’s happily married with 1.5 children, she’s a lawyer, likable, professional and she is a successful darker toned woman, she’s beating the odds.. The other woman with all the hair and drama may need to step it up a bit.

Phaedra said money was not an issue, but that doesn’t mean you take advantage of the situation. Phaedra was giving business to a friend. I believe she meant she would spend what was needed to make the video professional quality and something that would sell.
If Kenya was a professional, she would have had a contract drawn up prior to her doing the work and had it signed to ensure she would be paid for her services. She thought she was going to get over. She thought she could do the work, give Phaedra an inflated budget and get profits from their idea because this was her expertise and not Phaedra’s. It backfired and showed everyone what kind of businesswoman she really is. Yes, it would have been nice for them to put together a successful, black produced, fitness product, but at the end of the day, it’s all business. Kenya was not good business!

I saw Phaedra at the Inauguration, and she was very personable and warm to those who spoke to her. So many women wore fur coats, particularly celebs (her, Star Jones, Yolanda Adams and Sheila E). I thought, "they don’t care nothin’ about PETA." However, PETA knows better than to ruin a black woman’s fur lol.
