Nene and her new “fiance” are making the rounds since announcing their “engagement” online last week.
Monday Nene made an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show (click HERE if you missed it), where she verfied the big news and chatted with Wendy today about their rekindled romance. Leakes also took the opportunity to spill the beans on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday.
The two met in 1996, married in 1997 and filed for divorce in 2011.

As you know, it’s been MY assessment all along that the divorce was only on paper but I’m finally glad the couple has come to their senses and stopped pretending.
Leakes played the game and she won! All of her original cast mates were kicked off the island and now she can finally come clean about and live her life like it’s golden!

I am not sure if Greg was ready to see me as his wife out in the forefront, making my own money, doing my own thing. That was very difficult for him and I felt like Greg wasn’t doing all the things that he should be doing as a husband, and I decided to divorce Greg …
Because I am so vocal, I felt like I was accused of doing something wrong in our relationship … and actually it wasn’t me, to be honest, Greg did something I did not approve of.

I am so glad you called out NeNe and Greg’s FAKE divorce. She can’t talk about Kenya and Walter because she ‘acted’ like she was divorced, yet was seen everywhere with Greg. The ‘divorce; was for her ‘big’ storyline last Season 4.

Marriage is worth a damn thing nowadays anyway. She might as well make some money off of your fake divorce, taping your reconciliation and having the network sponsor your wedding and honeymoon. On top of all the checks she will receive doing interviews about the wedding. She just needs to do something with her son Bryson because according to the hood boogers I overheard, having his baby is the new come up to get some of Nene money.
A person would have to be high as a damn kite to lay up with Bryson, he has nothing going or has no desire to do anything for himself. Anyway, I hope he ends up doing something positive in his life.

Sometime women say things to make their husband or boyfriend to do better in their relationship or just make up shit to keep people out of the business. But Kenya she just crazy,you can’t make a man do something he doesn’t want to do. Just move on
Nene filed for divorce in 2010! The divirce was finalized in 2011. People were not saying her divorce was fake when she was accused of having an affair with Charles Grant and Gregg’s audio recording came out blasting Nene. Everybody was happy that Gregg was divorcing Nene.
Maybe the divorce wasn’t so "fake" meaning that perhaps since Nene is the primary earner in the household she did that to protect her assets. If she gets a prenup this time around that could explain her actions.
Remember before they split Greg was acting like he made Nene by investing into her career. So perhaps that opened her eyes to the fact she needed to protect herself financially.
That’s my opinion too. Gregg was being sued by a lot of people, so she had to divorce him to keep her assets separate from his.
Yeah it would make sense. Confused with post though always saying "fake" divorce but confirming Nene had reason for it to be real divorce by showing proof of him cheating. If you combine that with him putting on blast how he invested in her career and wanted it back it would stand to reason that she thought it may be a good time to protect herself and keep her money from being spent on other women, since he clearly was broke and facing all those law suits. She was going to get her check from Bravo regardless but fake or real it was a smart move all around and she did a better job of executing then Kenya. We can always speculate about Nene situation but none of the parties or confirming so it remains a rumor. Kenya and Walter situation different because not only does it look suspect for speculation but Walter admitted it and as much of a jerk he seems to be his side of the story seems more plausible.
If you follow or have followed this saga like i have, you’d know that Greg "cheated" after they were already "divorced". I was mad at Michelle at the time because it seemed odd to say he was cheating when it was clear they were broke up. But when Nene got mad and went off on twitter, I knew it was all just for the show checks and Michelle was right all along.
Nothing wrong with them being in it to win but don’t call out Kenya for playing the same game.
