Super hip-hop couple Clifford “T.I.” Harris and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle grace the cover of Ebony Magazine’s annual BLACK LOVE edition.
It’s the first time that the couple have covered the magazine together. T.I. on his commitment to Tiny:
Once I made my mind up that I was going to be committed to this relationship, I started being married then and there.
Since I’ve been married, it’s the same relationship, we’re the same people. We treat each other the same way, and we’re just as happy now as we were before.
Ebony’s Black love issue will also feature newlyweds Meagan Good and her new hubby DeVon Franklin as well as Bishop T.D. Jakes with wife, Serita.
The couples chat about love, marriage and how they each make their relationships work.
In order to play fair, Ebony is honoring each of the three couples with their own covers! It’s reportedly the first time each of the other two couples have landed an Ebony cover as well.

These are great covers..I really love TI and Tiny as a couple
I haven’t bought Ebony magazine in God knows how long, but I will certainly get the issue with T.I. and Tiny on it. Very nice picture and I really like the two of them as a couple, they seem for real. They’ve stuck it out for the long haul and weathered some storms and those two factors are key in having a solid relationship. Bishop Jakes and Serita too. Eh, Megan Goode and Devon (not sure who he is) is kinda premature to have on the cover of a magazine IMO. They’ve been married 5 seconds and everywhere I turn she’s offering advice on maintaining a relationship. She reminds me of one of those new mothers who has a two month old baby and thinks she’s mastered parenting, lol! Also….did she just say she tries to surprise him when he comes to town?! Not a good idea at all for newlyweds to have frequent time apart, but that’s just me. Anyway, can’t wait for this issue to hit the stands
I was thinking the same thing about Meagan. The ink hasnt even dried good and now she is on the cover? They could have put Monica and her hubby, Tamar and Vince, Denzel and Pauletta….. and there are many others. Oh well, I digress…..
I think Ebony and Essence haven’t been what they were created to do…for a very very long time.
I do think the covers are gourgeous. But I agree SDMH, Couples like Denzel and Pauletta who have been solid(I didn’t say perfect) for over 29 years…or Tamar and Vince who have the hottest couple show right now and Lebron and Savannah would have been nice covers as well.
But, I’m thinking I see the trend of the 10% negro. lol Who knew Amber Rose was even black..lol and why them anyway? next lol My bad…others are black now…lmao and of course more important than actual black folks…cause Ebony says so…lol
You should pickup Ebony again. The magazine is wonderful. Now essence is just awful, but Ebony is worth a subscription

My 24year anniversary w/ my love is tomorrow and we’re not married. He says he wants to get married this year b/c we should have been already. I’m scared! I don’t want NOTHING to break us apart. I love all 3 of these covers of Ebony and I will be buying all 3. I think that it is important to respect the marriages and relationships of others, because none of us are in either of them.
Regardless of how someone looks, there is always someone for them, regardless of who don’t like them. Until you find someone for yourself who will LOVE AND RESPECT you in the same manner these men are showing to their wives.
Keep your negative views in your mouths, because your opinion is never going to be heard, nor read by these MUCH IN LOVE AND MARRIED BUSY CELEBRITY COUPLES!

1. T.I. and Tiny look so amazing. Very relaxed, classy, and comfortable with each other….the way a married couple should look together.
2. All 3 couples look great.
3. I love the fact that they selected couples in different age groups.
4. "Ebony" must have finally fired someone, because I can see that they stopped playing politics and finally decided to remember that there are more than the same 7 or 8 Black couples in Hollywood.
5. Black people should be happy with these covers. In the past there were constant complaints about unmarried couples being on the cover. That is not problem this year. This issue should sell completely out.

why are they calling it black love? love is love, and GOD ordained. It’s 2013, and a love between a man and a woman is a beautiful thing. All this black this and black that, life is too short, with all that. Find love where you can. Where’s the story of Melody Hobson and George Lucas engagement, or Janet and Wissam al Mana engagements. But, wait, it’s not black love.
