Former NBA players John Salley and Antoine Walker and NFL player turned businessman Damion Gregory sat down on BET’s “Don’t Sleep” hosted by TJ Holmes to discuss athletes who go broke after leaving the game.
In an episode entitled: “GAME OVER: Sports and Money in Black America,” Salley, who entered the NBA at 19, offered sound financial advice for young players entering the league.
Walker, who appeared on ESPN’s 30 for 30: Broke Documentary, recently declared bankruptcy and speaks candidly about the poor financial decisions he made throughout the years.
One of these things is not like the other. One of these things just doesn’t belong. Can you tell which thing is not like the others…. by the time I finish my song? *sing along*
[Sidebar: Keep your eye on John Salley while Sheree speaks. Those side-eye's he throws = "PRICELESS"!]

There was a whole lot going on during that episode! I wonder if they reached out to Allen Iverson?
To be fair, if any woman was going to sit on the panel representing a “broke” NFL player, it may as well have been Sheree Whitfield. *shrug*
