The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired the 6th episode of season 5 last night and it was all love and affection in Anguilla.

Zolciak departed with a bang after she made a slew of excuses last week about why she couldn’t go on yet another RHOA team trip.
As I told y’all earlier this year, the woman all banded together after Kim’s violent outburst and refused to tape until Bravo either made Kim work for her money like the rest of them or booted her from the cast.

It’s my understanding that Bravo booted Kim from the cast of RHOA but the spin-off stems from all the footage obtained of the foul-mouthed mother of 4, shot in her home while she was pregnant.
Kim considers it a promotion, however it’s not like she got a pay raise. She’s merely working off the remainder of her contract.
Moving on…
Rumor has it that Kim even dropped the “n” word during her final confessional. I watched it a few times and while they bleeped SOMETHING out, I don’t know if it was the “N” word.

During this episode, Cynthia Bailey and her husband Peter Thomas arranged a couples retreat to Anguilla.
As the six RHOA couples arrive at Hartsfield-Jackson International airport, Kenya Moore starts the drama by ignoring newbie Porsha Stewart.
Do we care? No not really… but it’s a bit childish and gives us a glimpse of Kenya’s overall mentality.
The couples include: Cynthia & Peter, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker, Phaedra Parks & Apollo Nida, Porsha & Kordell Stewart, Nene & Greg Leakes, Kenya Moore & Walter Jackson.
After months of dating and adjusting to cohabiting, Kandi & Todd seem to have adjusted to each other and are clearly in love.
Peter is planning a “surprise” ceremony for he and Cynthia to reaffirm their vows on the island where she originally wanted to get married.

I am starting to dislike this show. This season has had a few good moments but most of it should have been left on the cutting floor.
Kenya is completely acting to the point it’s not easy to watch. They relied on her too much this season. Cut her. We’ve basically gotten all she can give.
Phaedra is a punk, but I’m glad she is not fighting over Apolllo. Why bother? Lord knows he is not faithful and I’m not totally convinced that he is not bi. What he did was worse than Kenya. Phaedra paid good money for Apollo so you would think she would have sprung for some obedience training for him (at least in public).
I didn’t actually have a problem with Kenya grinding on Peter though. I’ve done the same thing.

Actually, Phaedra was not being weak. It takes more strength not to clock someone or go off. A person who rules their spirit is mightier than an individual who takes a city. Secondly, Phaedra is a lawyer. What you do not know is that she is held to a higher standard whether in her law practice or not. If you understand the ABA Model Rules of Professional Responsibility for Lawyers, you would know that Phaedra cannot respond like a thug or hood rat. She must maintain her cool and handle her business in private…behind closed doors. So I commend her. No need to be called up before the State Bar Disciplinary Committee because of Kenya. Phaedra must be wiser than that.
I thought Phaedra handled herself well too and I think she definitely showed she was not playing around with Kenya when Kenya asked what friend she would pick to sleep with her and Apollo. It’s call keeping your house in order. Can’t be a sinner 6 days of week and a saint 1. Just don’t work like that. So with than in mind, you can’t be a tv wife and a real wife and expect the bounderies and sanctity of a real marraige to stay in effect. Kenya should of been checked on the spot but soon you will all see that it just don’t work like that. For a matter of fact, I am more offended by my own kind we know better and yet continue to teach other cultures to disrespect. Would I be mad if someone called me the N word, yeah because most people know enough about me to know I don’t use the word or call people outside their name. I don’t even jokingly let someone say "b-please". There is a standard that we must live by as a people.
Another note, I get what you’re saying because I HATE the fact that the word is so common in our community and is prevelant in every rap/hip hop song (trey songz even) and comic show. However, regardless of if black people use it, keeblers should not. I can talk about my family all I want to. Somebody else do it and it’s hell to pay. The same thing, sort of.

Yeah it matters, it matters alot because black people are not the only one’s buying their music and you can call it what you want but the acceptance of their music means, to some, that..that is the accepted behavior of the whole culture. I will never try to justify racism because it exists. If the re-election of Obama has taught us anything, it’s that the confederacy is still alive but some people need to understand their role in struggle. We have went from pushing our people forward to setting them 10 years back.

Hillbilly is definitely a racial slur. I called a white boy I knew from high school a hillbilly when he said some racist mess on my facebook page that I didn’t like. I meant it as a PURE racist comment. He and everyone else who read it knew it was too. Now, I never use racial slurs towards anyone, ever, but on this particular day, an old "friend" decided to make racist comments in regards to some of my friends and I gave him a dose of his own medicine. So you calling Kroy a hillbilly IS racist and it is exactly like the n word. Would you call your white boss a hillbilly? No. So just because YOU say it isn’t racist doesn’t stop it from being racist. If it wasn’t a racist word you would not have used it. You’re not fooling anyone.
