The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s 5th Season is chugging right along and while things seem to be moving a bit slowly, at least they’re moving.
Is it me? Or does it seem like Nene Leakes is picking up where the legendary Sheree Whitfield left off by becoming the new town snitch?
In the latest episode of RHOA, Nene runs & tells Cynthia Bailey about how Phaedra Parks “butt dialed” a friend of hers.
Nene goes on to play the audio of the mistaken voicemail message where Parks was “allegedly” overheard saying she didn’t give a “f*ck” if Cynthia came to her son’s 2nd birthday party or not.

Phaedra was totally busted but you gotta give her props for the way she played Cynt to the left. Sorry… but y’all know that mosquito bite story was funny as hell!
I blame Cynthia for not having the BALLS to veer Phaedra back to the conversation at hand, but that’s just me. Continue Reading…

Thanksgiving has come and gone and I’m sure many of you are still eating leftovers right this very second.
As you sit there giving thanks for your cold turkey salad sammich, there are also many needy families who are probably giving thanks right now for the charitable contributions received during the holidays.
On the eve of Thanksgiving, Shanti Das along with Teddy Riley & Blackstreet played host to “No Reservations Needed” a new meal service initiative held to benefit Atlanta’s homeless community.
Trina Braxton and her husband Gabe Solis attended the event to lend a hand and give back to the community.
She was joined by Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, television executive Ryan Glover, Interscope’s Keinon Johnson and Atlanta City Council members, Kwanza Hall and Ceasar Mitchell.

shared the photo above as she preps a dish for her 2012 Thanksgiving feast.

There are many things I’m thankful for and since today is designated for us all to “give thanks,” I’ll share some of them with you.
2012 has been a year of discovery for me, both personally and professionally. Life is crazy and it can seriously suck at times, and while things absolutely NEVER turn out the way I want them to, they always turn out for the best.
I now realize that sometimes unanswered prayers can actually be God’s blessings.
There have been many a day that I wanted to walk away from blogging. It ain’t easy being me. Trust. I’m not perfect and have never professed to be. Continue Reading…
