I can see you totally missed my point. There was nothing judgmental about my post. I simply stated the truth: God does not support ratchet behavior. And I went to the Bible to back up my premise.

Can you honestly say God does support ratchet behavior? If so, explain. If not, than I stand by my initial comments; because I know you will not be able to come up with any situation where God is anything but righteous. I'm not condemning anyone for reading and commenting on a blog. That is not my judgment to make anyway. I'm a sinner too. Therefore, I can't judge no one. But I can speak the truth. Biblical Scripture is the truth. It is God's word. Can you counsil God's word and tell Him He is wrong?

Plus, no one will go to hell for reading and commenting on a blog. I was just defending the character of God; which is my duty to do when other misrepresent His nature, His ways, etc.

I compared misrepresenting God's nature to rappers who put out filth, and then thank God at their awards ceremonies as if He supports said filth. He does not! The god they are thanking is the Devil, who is the god of this world; and was the angel of music when he was in heaven.

Again, to say I was being judgmental is to have missed my point altogether. And I don't take repsonsibility for that.

To answer your question...

Read the following Scripture: Mark 2:15-17.

In said Scripture, Jesus and His disciples were congregating with sinners and tax collectors at Levi's house. The Pharisees questioned Jesus as to why He would be congregating with tax collectors and sinners. And Jesus replied, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."

Therefore, what Jesus is saying is that people who know, love and respect God, people who are already saved, lovers of Christ, He did not come for. He came to call those who have not accepted the gospel and God's word, God's truth, which is THE ultimate truth. Therefore, where ever there is a need for Christ to show up, He would be there; a blog, a hospital, a park bench, where ever.

I'm not condemning anyone. And surely not for reading a blog for entertainment. If some thought that was what I was doing, than they missed my point altogether. Using this blog to entertain yourself is not the issue here. There is nothing wrong with it, as far as I am concerned. I only have a problem with those who misrepresent God. Those who believe and state that God supports their foul ways; because they are ignorant to biblical Scripture and what God's word says about many aspects of everyday living.

And I went to Scripture and to prove my point, which are not my words. They are God's words. And who can council God and tell Him His words are wrong? If you are bold enough to do so, do it your way.

No one is going to hell for reading a blog. And that decision is not mine to make anyway. I would not condemn someone for sin, because I'm a sinner too. We were all born in sin through Adam and Eve's transgression. No one is void of sin, regardless of how religious you claim to be. Again, my point was not to condemn, as apposed to defending God's character: He does not support ratchet behavior of any kind, whatsoever.

When I do or say something ratchet, I hear about it from God. He'll speak directly through my pastor. And He is correct when he chastises me. God chastises those He loves. I have to accept it and do better the next time.

What I spoke was truth: God is Holy, Holy, Holy. He does not support anything that goes against His word. Who can challenge that? I can't. People want to be lied to. They don't want to hear the truth. If you want to do better, just put in the effort. But if you fail, all you have to do is confess your sin, repent and ask for forgivness. Confess means to admit your sin. Repent means to turn away from committing said sin. God bless you.

Say what you want, I appreciate a little 'tea' every now and then. Yep, I do want to know why RiRi is posting Twitpics of C.Breezy in her bed, or why the aforementioned's twitter account was suspended and yes, why Halle's house was ground zero for a Thanksgiving Day beatdown. Kudos to you, Michelle, continue to follow your dreams and inspire other to do the same.

Michelle, I always become excited when I see your new posts. I know that I can come here to receive the real tea. It was nice to find out more about you....keep it coming! Remember our struggles are just a path to ensure we are truly thankful when we come through it all.

Just like me to be tardy for the party lol. When I 1st learned of blogs, I rarely came to this one because (clearly) it was ATL-vocused and I wanted a more broad spectrum. However, I hardly go to any of the other blogs anymore (couldn't pay me to go to Bossip/MTO, and I'll maybe stop by RWS q two weeks). You can tell a person by the company she keeps, and the fact that most of your commenters have intelligent exchanges, even when heated, AND when the village idiots of other sites try to infiltrate and are swiftly ran off, speaks to your character. Keep doing you. Let your haters be your motivators.

TD, you said:

Like I said above: the truth is the truth. And no real, true woman of God would say, "I am a woman of God. So F all yall who don’t believe me." The aforementioned is a false representation of the principles of God that one should follow.

------------------
I so agree, but please look at the messenger. Look at her conduct and her judgement. 'Nuff said lol.
Concerning church folk, I can tell you that many of them will be shocked when they end up in hell. Please know this is not directed at you but based on my personal experience: I often know a person is not saved when they're quick to tell me they are. That's something that other people can tell me about them.
