Bobbi Kristina and The Houston family have embarked on a journey of discovery in their new Lifetime reality show, The Houston’s On Our Own but they’ve also received a ton of negative criticism over the way the teen is being portrayed.
Throughout the 14 episode half-hour series, viewers are seeing the Houston Family as they come together to deal with the loss of Whitney and focus on Krissy, the 19 year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney, and the only heir to her mother’s estate.
This is truly a journey through the emotional spaces of a family that has been public for so many years.

Pat / Cissy is scamming that money out of the trust. It should be noted that if Krissy dies the money goes to Cissy. When Cissy dies the money is to be split evenly between Bobby Brown (yep she never changed will) and Whitney’s brothers.
Cissy is the Executor of the Estate and Donna "Pat" Houston and Michael Houston are Trustees.

I watgch the show and it’s pretty good. I just thinks it’s too soon for her to be in the spotlight when she is still grieving the loss of her mother. It hasn’t even been a year yet.

Bobbi Kris been had this grown ass attitude-she got on my damn nerves on Being Bobby Brown. That attitude is a result of Whitney spoiling this child and not making her respect authority-she used to talk to Bobby all types of reckless. Truth be told, I don’t think she displayed much respect with Whitney either, so therefore she has no damn problem spending her fortune recklessly. It’s obvious Miss Bobbi Kris is struggling living without her mama. Who wouldn’t be? Her mom was her everything. Her situation will get better if she can stay sober and grow without the hindrance and influence of others and drugs. In my opinion I think her Aunty Pat is doing an exceptional job in the way she is going about this whole situation. Her love is great and shines through to her family. Praise God for her and I pray that she will continue to endure and confide in the Lord’s way and peace.

Mary I can here to comment on just that…them dang on wigs that i just want to pull of and throw away. They actually add to the drug/drunk look that she has going on. PLUS I HAAAAAAAAAAATE wigs with fake parts…sooooo ugly.
Only other thing is I feel so sad that she has made Nic her world. He WILL fail her one day…it’s the human thing that we do and unless she has a LIFE outside of him she will crumble. I really wish Bobby would get over the fact that she dont like his wife and be a father to his daughter.
I cried EVERYTIME I watched this show. I am a licensed social worker and deal with addicts daily. It is so crushing to watch Bobbi K being exploited for money. She is an addict and needs the proper treatment and support.
What she doesn’t need is to be on display with a group of people who are using her name to make a profit. SMDH
That’s why I don’t watch that stupid show.Any grown able bodied person that produced this mess(family members) need to get off of their leeching behind/put those drugs and drank down and get a real job.I am tired of yall trying to run this girl into the ground.

I dont plan on watching this show because the whole family is unattractive. When she looks "TV ready" then maybe I will view the show until then I enjoy reading the comments

I watched this train wreck last night and it hurts to see no one address her…why is she allowed to smoke in front of the adults..she’s 19, why is she allowed to drink..she’s 19…no one will stand up to her..she needs tough love..all this treating her like a baby..it’s over..

That is NOT her brother. I wish people would stop saying that. She is 19 and in "love". I’m sure it will pass, but her "family" constantly bugging him is just making it worse. I guarantee if they were nicer to him she would come around or dump him because its no longer fun. Either way its win win for the family. They seem to be in denial about her drug use. They keep talking about her drinking, but her problem is drugs. She’s high all the time not drunk. She’s 19 and just lost the only person she could really trust. I’m sure her mom told her about them so she doesn’t really want to be bothered but she has no one else. To me it’s another Bobby/Whitney situation with her daughter. They are blaming Nick but I’m sure her substance abuse started long before him and will continue well after.
Nick was welcomed in that family as Whitney’s godson, making him her god"brother"-they both knew better.

She said.." they harrassed my mom all the time too and look waht happened to her, she’s dead". I am no professional, but I recognize a problem when I see one. She is an addict. The fact that they taped this child trowing up was gross.I turned the channel after that. None of the people (adults) on that show care about this girl. I felt a little sincerity from Cee Cee Winans but that was it. LOL Her husband never said anything and never once looked in the camera. LOL This is an accident waiting to happen. Bobbi Kris needs to move in with Oprah and Stedman. Stat!
and I thought Tyler Perry "promised" he was going to help her through this also, I think she should get to rehab from around her family and Nick, BUT until she ADMITS that she has a problem, that is beating a dead horse, and why does when she talk it sounds like she is ‘HOLDING GRAVEL IN HER MOUTH", and I wonder if Ms. Oprah is watching this or was she just concerned about getting that first interview soon after Whitney passed. (not saying that any of those two people have any responsiblity to Bobbi)

I dont think they should have done the show because it’s coming across like her family is taking advantage of her. she has to grow up fast now,stand up for what she believes is right for her life. Let the boyfriend go for now because she needs time to become her own person, not to depend on him to make her strong. I say that because her mom had crazy love, unhealthy love for B.Brown it would be sad to see her go down that road. The timing of this show is off. It is still way too soon after Ms. "Whitney’s" death. Famiy emotions are still to raw and Krissy clearly is NOT together at all. Having done this show at this time makes Pat suspect in my eyes she is coming across as money hungry. If she really cares about her niece as she so claims she would do all in her might to protect the child during what should be her first year of grieving. Pat appears to be allowing Krissy to act a fool. Pat needs to pay more attention to her daughter. Her daughter has got to feel like the red headed step child no attention from her own mom and what little she does get from her mom is shared with Krissy. Enough of the train wreck. End it now and come back later when this child is in a better place and space.
