Every election there’s debate about whether rapper/entrepreneur/reality star Clifford “T.I.” Harris can vote.
As you know, Tip pleaded guilty to weapons charges back in 2007 and his high priced attorneys found a loophole in Georgia law book, which allows convicted felons the right to vote.
The catch? They can only vote if not currently serving probation or a prison sentence.

Tip fit the bill back in 2008 and cast his ballot for Barack Obama, and since he completed all requirements of his federal sentence back in September 2012, he’s free and clear to vote again!
Tip also sent a video message from the polls. Check it out…

You don’t need a high priced attorney to know that convicted felons can vote under certain circumstances in MOST states.
Most states say that a convicted felon that has completed his/her sentence and probation/parole can have their voting rights restored. While some states say that after serving your sentence only, a person can have their rights restored. And of course there a smaller number of states where a convicted felon can not have his/her rights restored.

Love it!
I went to vote at 7 am and it was a mini clusterfck. The people in charge were confused. Only 7 voting booths. McCain/Ryan campaign posters right at the corner of the polling place…no campaigning yet it’s the last thing u see as u enter the parking lot. This is my first time voting electronically and I felt more secure doing paper ballots for some reason. In California atleast you physically fill out your ballot like a scantron then physically place your own ballot through the vote counter. Electronics have too much trickery. I hope my vote did somethin in this red state and if not, hope the prop for charter schools pass.
Girl, I was in line at 4:40 am. Won’t touch electronic machines. Paper all the way!
O.k. T.I. that sticker is suppose to mean u voted….that might be tiny sticker………jus sayin…lol
I figured that he was able to vote. I have noticed in interviews that when he is asked about voting he is very ambiguous. I also noticed that the pre-screen form at the polls asks if you are currently serving a felony term as opposed to do you have a previous felony. Good for him.
Hummm I didn’t know that.
