I don’t like Kenya Moore. I did at one point a loooong time ago, but not anymore. She’s a prostitute. I don’t want to watch a prostitute. They were able to sneak Marlo past me, but I’m not falling for that a second time. I don’t like how Bravo brings prostitutes on this show and puts them in front of young black girls watch. Young black girls will think prostituting is something to aspire to, rather that making money in a responsible way. I won’t be watching this season.
All those “wives” shows and rappers dating strippers have girls thinking they can use their body as a means for a “come up”. I volunteer at a charity that helps young teenagers prepare for college through various educational courses. It is hard to recruit the teenagers at certain high schools because they think that they will land a baller. They say things like “my sister went to college and all she has is debt, but Amber Rose, Nene & Chyna was on the pole and they got big houses and expensive bags, and I know I look better than them”. One girl said “Only thing I would go to college for is so I can sink my hands into a baller early like LeBron’s wife and Gloria from BBW”. The common consensus is “Screw education, I’m going to keep my body right and tight, and somehow everything will be okay”.
This is just sad. The entire focus is on money. There does not seem to be any other values like: health, charity, being a good parent/friend/spouse/employee. Of course money is important, but it cannot be the end all be all. If only these girls knew there are not enough ballers to go around. What happens when they are 40 and still on the pole because they haven’t found a baller yet? If they would get an education, they wouldn’t have to worry about finding a baller. They’d be balling themselves.
Then they become the Evelyn Lozada’s of the world. Still dressing like 20 something year olds looking for a next wallet to live off of. Trying to start business but not putting half as much effort into it than they are trying be to be a new trophey.

I saw her photo…Meh, she could very well be part Native American. Genetics are interesting because a person can be of ‘mixed race’ but exhibit the physical traits of one ancestral line more than another.
Being part Native American–or anything else, for that matter–is no big deal, unimpressive. That group is doing worse than black people. Why associate yourself with another group of people who lost their land, live on reservations, live on government subsidies, have a high rate of alcoholism and obesity, and do not acknowledge blacks who also have Native American ancestry?
@KneeGrow, that’s what I have always wondered too, why blacks love claiming Native American blood when you have said exactly what I’ve been thinking for years. Now I don’t doubt that there are blacks who are half Native American but I do think that there are very few. Tina Turner said she had Native American in her until Henry Louis Gates did that genetic testing on her ass and found out that she wasn’t. She had a disappointing look on her face. I think some black claim NA because they may want to feel as if they’re less black if that makes sense.
There is also this news anchorwoman that does Fox2 news in St. Louis and she wears this long weave and there’s a segment she does called Ask April and someone said that she has beautiful long hair and how do you get it to look like that and that fool said she’s mixed with Indian, lol. This news person is hung up on crap like that. I peeped her FB page and she bragged about a man thought that she was mixed, now mind you she is just as black as I am. These women get a hold of some long ass weave and they lose their damn minds. My very own hair is 18 inches long, (last I checked) and I keep it up most of the time and when I see these women wearing these weaves it’s kinda funny to me because it seems as if it changes their whole personality. I think she is beautiful but when I was a teenager she pissed me off something proper like. She did a charity event for an organization that charters towards young girls (preteen and up) and was very “I’m better than you, and you should be happy that I am here”. She was not the most famous person there but was acting as though she was the Queen of Sheba. Some of us had no idea who she was upon arrival but thought she was just the girlfriend of one of the male celebs. Apparently this pissed her off, because her presence was not properly promoted. So she proceeded to have the “stank face” all through the panel discussion and did not want to participate in the autograph signing. Ever since then I really don’t care for her.
Oh so her STANK attitude is real huh? I was hoping it was just for TV! Real talk…she needs to humble herself because she’s a NOBODY!

I only met Kenya on that one occasion. I cannot say this is her standard personality but she was exactly as I described. This was a nonprofit event that asked you and others to participate. Check the attitude at the door and be the role model you set out to be when giving all those Miss USA speeches. Most of us girls recognized her from an episode of the Jamie Foxx show because it was still on re-runs. I honestly thought she was someone’s girlfriend because she was flirting with one of the other panel members during their meet and greet section. I was not in earshot of the conversation but body language tells a lot. She was peeved because her picture was not on the board of speakers and her name wasn’t in the program. “Her people” did not provide a photo and she was not confirmed until the very last minute, after the program was sent to the printers. So yeah we didn’t know who you were because “her people” dropped the ball. She’s a trip because she said something to the effect of “I have a crown and have been on TV and you mean to tell me you couldn’t find one photo of me? (Eyes rolled)”
