In it’s 4th Annual ASCAP Presents… Women Behind the Music series, former Xscape singer and proud wife & mother, Tameka Harris was honored for her 20 years of songwriting contributions in the music industry.

The event, held at Atlanta’s Vanquish nightclub, also included honors for attorney Bernie Lawrence-Watkins and songwriter/recording artist Crystal Nicole.

T.I. discussed it years ago. It happened around or maybe at the time she lost her baby. I wouldnt make up something like that. I think its so classless when people kill folks on the internet. Jackie Chan has died twice in my lifetime.

Smh…knowing these people personally, my sister used to work for her..Mrs. Harris did not have a stroke around the time her daughter Leyah passed. That’s just a long standing rumor someone made up as an explanation for the changes she’s underwent. She’s had some work done ..some not in her favor, and she’s tried to correct it..but she’s a beautiful woman inside and out and I would like to congratulate her on all her accomplishments past, present, and future. <3
I never noticed her voice at all in Xscape. I know one thing; looking at that outfit gave me a headache.
