The talented songstress is featured in a 7 page photo spread shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz and Vogue contributing author Jason Gay interviews her in a piece called “Rihanna: Unstoppable Artist.”
In the article, Rihanna discusses her career and how she feels that while she’s finally achieved the proper balance between her personal life vs. her professional life, the world just can’t get over that infamous “Chris Brown” beating incident.
“To the world, I feel like there’s no closure,” she says.
“There’s some obsession that’s continued even throughout when we weren’t friends or couldn’t be friends at all. Hated each other. The world hasn’t let go.
They haven’t seen any progress in our friendship, because they don’t see anything, really, besides the song.”
Controversially, she collaborated with Brown on a remix of a raunchy track from her last album called “Birthday Cake” (LISTEN).
Rihanna sat down with Oprah Winfrey a few months ago and confessed she still loved Brown and hoped he “finds peace.” Since that time, the pair has “reunited.”

I just feel sorry for her for not being able to let go… but, it’s not my life so it is what it is… However, if something else goes down between those two, it’ll be even worse on her than it was the first time so I hope she’s careful because she’s playing with fire.

While I still like "some" of her music as a woman can’t stand her. To me it’s not about her being friends or banging him again it’s about the fact that she kept saying no we don’t talk, were not friends blah blah blah and untill recentlly they are the best of friends. She should have been honest from the get go and then her fans could have gone through the forgiving process with her but she kept hiding it. But to me the biggest issue I don’t like about her is that she went on t.v. and said that she is still in love with this dude that has a girl. As a woman you don’t disrespect another woman by doing that. All the women on here know good and well if your mans ex told everyone that she still loved him and that they have a close relationship everyone would have a issue with it. That Vogue Photo of Rihanna is FIERCE, looks like a cat ready to pounce. The photographer did a brilliant shot. Luv it! Rihanna looks Stunning in the Vogue pics. ONe of her Best shoots to date. As for the Rihanna and Chris Brown personal relationship. They have history together and they both have similar backgrounds which is probably why they connect. As far as her fans, get a grip, Rihanna has over 30 million fans, they support her otherwise, she wouldn’t have that many fans. So your negative opinions on this blog are quite frankly irrelevant! Both Chris and Rihanna were young. If people are going to bash someone for the stupid wrongs they did at 19 and 20, this world would be an impossible place to live in. People make mistakes when they are 19 which was about the age this episode happened. They are both older now.
