Sheree Whitfield (formerly) of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is apparently more relevant than you guys think.

In addition to making random ‘celebrity’ appearances and fighting her unpaid attorneys in court, Whitfield was recently featured on TV Guide’s website.
Sadly the the aspiring actress’ photo wasn’t listed in an article giving her accolades for being a stellar thespian, she was actually mistaken for one of the contestants of Rupaul’s Drag Race.
I couldn’t make this stuff up…
Sahara Davenport aka Antoine Ashley, sadly passed away of heart failure at the age of 27. In announcing the death, TV Guide erroneously labeled a photo of Sheree as that of the deceased drag queen.
Sheree immediately contacted the periodical via twitter to notify them of the error and she also lent her condolences to Davenport’s family.
TV Guide corrected the error and posted the following response:

Well the good news is… at least the mistake gets Sheree’s name back in the news. And it’s just in time for her small role in the newest ‘Scary Movie’ saga.
The Atlanta ‘housewife’ made famous for her “who gon’ check me boo?” phrase is set to appear in the upcoming comedy, Scary Movie 5.
A production photo was recently released which features Sheree alongside “Big Ang” of Mob Wives.
Whitfield is said to have a small role in the film and the shot was reportedly taken before “their blowout fight scene.”
Scary Movie 5 is set to hit theaters April 19, 2013 and stars Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Terry Crews, Molly Shannon, and Ashley Tisdale.

How you have heart failure at 27? The guy wasn’t overweight so that leads me to believe that either he had a drug problem or was born with a heart defect that would eventually claim his life early.

That’s the first thing that came to my mind that he must have been doing drugs. Some of those queens love doing some heavy drugs in the club scene. My second guess was maybe he had a heart defect or something of that matter. I went on his FB page and someone mentioned that they were trying to raise money to give him a proper burial and I’m thinking he didn’t have any money but was looking fabulous all the time?
If you have all that money to spend on dresses and make up to go drag, you should have some money to bury yourself. 27 is old enough to know about life insurance.
I so agree. I get so tired of hearing people bragging about the shit they have and where they’re going but when a death occurs people are collecting money to bury somebody. Someone said it best: a person can brag all day long but when you die that’s when everyone in the family finds out all about your finances. I have a friend that’s in the funeral business and he sees this kind of mess everyday.
