Burruss even got emotional during a listening session once as she discussed the song “Leroy Jones,” which she penned in honor of her step father, who raised her as his own.

Now it appears as though Kandi is developing a relationship with bio-dad. She posted a photo of her dad and little sister supporting her at a Bedroom Kandi party last month, and now Burruss has welcomed her dad into another part of her life: the recording studio!

It’s something…no matter how old you get..the want to know your complete roots. My mother didn’t tell me til’ I was 30ty something who my father was. It was an extramarital affair. I STILL would like to know if this indeed IS my father,as my mother seems after all these years still untrustworthy of information revealed. Believe me,being a cousin of the most informative ancestry site online…I have tried to discover my other side.With no avail,I pretty much account this for "woman scorned" attitudes that will be taken to her death. My son was told throughout his questioning who his father was..and through site discovered not only who he was but siblings as well. They talk and visit each other often. This is a very important issue in defining one’s self. Every now and again I ask questions in hope of new revelations. I am comfortable with who I am…but would so much LOVE to know WHY I have certain abilities that in no way relates to her.She could have chosen under those circumstances to abort me so I thank internally thank her for that…though I am pro choice. Kandi was born of two resourceful people and I’m sure it’s not a "Can you help me out" situation. Must feel good.
Everyone should atleast know who your biological parents are so you wont wind up dating your half sister or brother. I wish Kandi the best in developing their relationship.

I someone who at age 18 was told by a drunk uncle at BBQ, that the man who raised her wasn’t her father. After questioning her mother she found out that her mother was “fast” and didn’t find out who the father was because there were multiple partners. Long story short, by the age of 21 this girl tested 4 different men, and all proved to not be her father. Her mother cannot remember how many other man she slept with, so unfortunately she has no idea who her father is and will never know. I really feel bad that she will never know her biological father because her mother was so loose with her cooch.
He need to get a DNA test real quick cause its hard for me to believe thats her father! Im just saying….
