Last night, the Real Housewives of Atlanta all joined each other in celebrating black film culture.

Newbie “housewife” Kenya Moore, played host to the cast and crew of RHOA for a grand costume event, where participants were encouraged to dress up as a character from their favorite old school movie.
The event, held at Atlanta’s historic Callanwolde Fine Arts Center was dubbed “Forever Relevant,” and each housewife joined Moore in dressing up to pay homage to their favorite Black actresses.
All the ladies looked amazing in their costumes and your favorite ex-con, Marlo Hampton even paid a visit last night.

Marlo and Kenya look EXCELLENT!!! I wish BRAVO could have dropped Cynthia or Kandi and put Marlo in as an official housewife. Marlo would have turned this season OUT so well. I love me some Marlo Hampton. And Kenya Moore is the prettiest dark skinned women to ever grace television.

LOVE! This is the kind of event I die for on Real Housewives. I am so glad Bravo put some time/money into this glamorous event. They all look fantastic. Though Kim would have done great at an event like this, I sure don’t miss Sheree!

I love it – Phaedra has really grown on me with crazy choices like this. Phaedra seems like she is so much fun! It do take nerve to go on TV like that. This is the kind of RHOA event I have been waiting for, well, for years!

that looks like fun. it is nice to see black women rep black icons. i usually see the young black girls being Marilyn Monroe and Barbie. so that was refreshing. i wasn’t sure about Kandi’s Tina Turner or Marlo’s Dianne Carroll. but still cute nonetheless.
