It’s been said many times that Nene is getting way too big for the constraints of RHOA and coincidentally, she recently revealed to The NY Post that her advancing career moves could mean kissing ‘housewives’ goodbye.
“At some point I do [plan to leave RHOA.] I love the acting world.
So at some point, I can’t continue to be a house wife.
At some point, I have to back out.”
And remember that talk show that was in the works for Nene back in the day? (click HERE if you missed it) well Nene reveals that her ultimate goal is to land an own hour-long talk show series.
I would keep it real for the whole hour!
Whatever the topic is, I feel I could talk about anything. Politics, men, money, shoes . . . anything.
I wouldn’t want to do a ‘Maury Povich’ show. Baby daddy! Who’s your daddy? Who’s your mama? I wouldn’t want to do that kind of show.

I am not always a fan of Nene but Kudos! Remember when she interviewed JD? You could tell she has potential for that gig.
I would prefer Nene be a talk show host any day before someone like Rachel Ray/Tyra and even Wendy Williams. All 3 are so obnoxious that I could not focus through the entire hour. Especially, Tyra who interrupted every sentence that every guest spit out to talk about herself, her past her life. She drove me crazy! A guest would be sharing something that you wanted to hear and then BAM! Tyra interrupts "Yeah because when I was a model, when I was fat" etc.
Nene can be over the top but she can also be perfectly charming when she wants to. And with the right finesse she would do great with the opportunity.
I remember the time she interviewed JD and she was very unprepared with her questions, so I dont know if interviewing is her strong suit. I am sure she will get better in time since she herself is being interviewed often
Yeah she was totally unprepared but once she broke the ice I thought she did fine. She will just have to put work into it.
They have two black women doing talk shows, which in Hollywierd is one too many, and, with Wendy being a loud, sassy sterotype,and the classy Trisha Goddard on another, no way will Nene get a show, but, have to give old girl props, she is riding that 15 minutes of fame way better than the rest of them.
Trisha Goddard show is on the BBC. I remember watching her when I study abroad and she was on Little Britain. Little Britain in hilarious! I have all the sets at home. If you like British comedy it’s available to watch on Netflix.

I just watched this show last night on my DVR and I must admit IT’S FUNNY AS S–T!! There were no signs of Nene yet but this show definitely gets props from me cause they had me on the floor laughing the whole show. Can’t wait to see what Nene’s role is. I’m sure she’ll be funny as heck to.

The entire cast of the New Normal is featured in the magazine, not just NeNe. I’m sorry but that expression on her face is all kinds of funny. She can’t do the sexy, with your mouth half open, pose. It looks fake and forced on her.
I have seen the New Normal and NeNe is doing exactly what she did on RHOA, being catty, and it’s not really funny in this setting. She’s one dimensional. If this is all she’s got she won’t make it in Hollywood for long.

Now that Oprah has opened her mind to the real world of entertainment,maybe she should jump on a bid for Nene. She wouldn’t have to worry about ratings or repeating all those Dr. Phil shows,not to mention movies no one would watch stranded on an island with an IPad. No, she’s not in Vogue by herself, but she COULD be. Nene does not only bring fashion, she makes fashion work. She dresses for women. This is what oppotunity and change is all about. She’s an excellent mother,(wife) and hard working entreprenuer. Nene is a 44? year old woman. Still young enough to hang. Wendy Williams is almost 50 and still clubbing. Nene’s platform is only 8 years old and she seems to micro schedule her life. Goes to bed at ten. Perfect mother to Brent who’s father is in his life. Brice on the other hand is too old and street smart to take advice from Nene OR Gregg. She can’t let her family be pulled down by his choices. That’s the main problem with single mothers trying to be mom and dad to young men today. The world has changed.Women have to work and Gregg wasn’t there when she was struggling to make ends meet. When he came into her life who knows what Brice was already into. AND Brice has his father’s genes.
And, his mom’s genes also.Brice didn’t make himself, somebody else besides dad’s DNA is present.Let’s not throw Brice under the bus, because you don’t know what the other son is going through.Everything is not what it seems.
