Noticeably absent? Sheree Whitfield (who quit after she got fired at the end of Season 4), Kim Zolciak (hate to say I told you so) and Marlo Hampton, who apparently offended Bravo higher ups last season with her gay slur.

Meet the two newbies… Porsha Stewart and Kenya Moore.
Porsha Stewart: Profession? Housewife.
Porsha is a saucy southern lady and embodies the essence of a confident woman wise beyond her years. A true “Georgia Peach,” Porsha was born and raised into a prominent family in Atlanta and is the granddaughter of Civil Rights leader and philanthropist, Rev. Hosea Williams. Residing in the exclusive Buckhead community in Atlanta, Porsha is a recent bride to former NFL football player Kordell Stewart and takes prides in being a new mom to her stepson, Syre.
Porsha always keeps family first, but in her spare time she manages to nurture a budding music career as well as various business ventures. Porsha will be taking her family’s legacy and enriched heart for giving into her new family with the unveiling of Kordell & Porsha Stewart Foundation for Cancer Research.
Porsha also enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, yoga, and afternoon dips in her pool. Well-known on the Atlanta social scene, some might say Porsha has it all.
Kenya Moore: Profession? Housewife (with no husband)… 
Kenya is the triple threat with beauty, brains and talent.
Originally from Detroit, the former psychology major left Michigan with fierce drive and determination to build her own unique brand.
Perhaps most recognized for being crowned Miss USA, Kenya is also known for acting and having worked with many “A” list stars, is a film and TV producer and CEO of Moore Vision Media. She finds Atlanta to be the perfect environment to grow a business and a rich social life. Aside from being a serious career woman, Kenya enjoys writing, hitting the gym, and never passes up an opportunity to speak her mind.
A hopeless romantic, Kenya is ready to start a family with her Mr. Right.

Bravo’s synopsis of Season 5 falls right in line with my previous revelations about the show:
New ventures, sizzling romance, a whole lotta donkey booty, and two new Housewives arrive to turn up the heat in Hotlanta. Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta follows NeNe as she embarks on a new adventure as a rising star in Hollywood.
In the love department, NeNe flirts with the idea of rekindling a romance with her ex, Gregg (with whom she NEVER REALLY BROKE UP), meanwhile, new love is in the air for Kandi who has recently found herself a man. Focused on their expanding businesses, Cynthia dabbles into the world of pageants and Phaedra decides to create a fitness video all about achieving that signature “donkey booty.”
Kim is NOT in any of the promos and Bravo explains her absence as follows:
Our recently married Housewife Kim is also busy expanding her family, but manages to make it
out for theto at least one or two of the ladies’ events — even ones where NeNe is the guest of honor. Will these two ever make up or will she further distance herself from the group in favor of her family and man?
And as far as the DRAMA I’ve warned y’all about all Summer… Bravo reveals:
New Housewives Kenya and Porsha also join the mix and waste very little time stirring things up among this group of southern ladies.
The premiere episode of the show is scheduled to air on November 4, 2012 at 9pm EST and trust me when I tell you at least one of the newbies *cough* (Kenya) is bringing the DRAMA, as evidenced by her actions at last night’s black tie event.

This franchise is tired and expired. People like drama and everyone seems happy…happy is boring to some a la Kim…everyone else is happy too. They should’ve added younger blood.
It is getting close to its expiration date, and, do they all go to Derek J for those weaves or what, well, other than Nene who gets hers from a men’s toupee shop.
They all look the same and thank goodness that Kim and Forrest ‘I don’t care for the coloreds’ Gump are GONE.

Kenya Moore is gorgeous it’s so evident that Porsha is intimidated because Kenya has natural green eyes and is dark skinned with a nice body. I’m going to miss Marlo this season. But Kenya, Marlo, and Nene are my favorite Housewives.

I will be tuning in for season 5 just as I have been doing since this franchise first started. Nene is the only original one left and she won’t be on the show that much. I love Phaedra but she can’t carry the show by herself and I’m not particularly interested in Cynthia who, IMO, never had a strong storyline. If the two new ladies don’t bring it in a good way, I’m not talking about being catty, this will be my last season watching this franchise.
I am so disturbed by Kandi and her swollen ankles, that I just can’t focus on anything else….I really wish she would stop wearing shoes like that, Lawdamercy.
there ALWAYS has to be at least one hater in the bunch there’s nothing wrong with her feet or shoes she look amazing…………before you throw shade ask yourself; can you even afford those shoes?
Actually I can, and I own a few pair. Since I own them, I know how they are designed to be worn, and if your ankles look like this, you should never wear them..Now take that opinion, I mean "hate" the way you want and relax in that shade.

I know its sad only Nene is left I really wish Sheree was kept on! I would have also liked to seen Marlo added she brings the luxury and the drama. Kim has run her course every since Kroy came around she has been acting so brand new and delusional ,also she most likely isn’t filming after the shame of losing that big house!!! I will still watch RHOA loved it since Season 1
Kim has a cast bio so it seems they will give her the Alexia treatment from RHOM and pepper her throughout the season. Andy and Co love her and there’s no way the network us done with her regardless to whether the girls or the production team likes her or not.
Interested to see the trailer since only the RHOBH trailer was unveiled in order to see what this Porscha is giving. My only gripe is that Cynthia’s boring ass is back. I guess she was playing for the right team after all.
Since they’ve switched the cast up, I’ll be watching because I’m tired of the same ‘ol story lines… If Kim was still there, then I just couldn’t take it anymore. Glad Sheree is gone too because she was boring.

Well at least three of these ladies are actually married. Unlike BBW were none are. I just watch the reruns while cleaning now, this show barely keeps my interest. Glad Shree and Kim are gone. Kim is getting a season 2 for her boring show, so if she really got Shree back she should let her be featured on the show in some episodes.

I will be watching. RHOA is my favorite franchise. I’m not really feeling the cast, I loved the originals. Kandi doesn’t bring anything to the show. How much sex toy talk can we take? Cynthia is boring. Just boring. Phaedra, is ok. Nene isn’t my favorite, but I do look forward to seeing her every season. I wish Kim were still on the show though. I must admit she was fun to watch. Even though Sheree had fallen off, she was also entertaining and was the main reason RHOA did so well to begin with. Can’t wait for the premiere!

Looks like Kim will be getting Jeana Keough’d ala RHoOC season 5 with Porsha being her midseason replacement? Seems congruent with Michelle’s reports of Kim filming at the beginning of the season, falls out behind the scenes with the girls and starts taping season 2 of Don’t Be Tardy.
Looking forward to the new season although I wish Cynthia and Kandi would have gotten the boot too and I will sorely miss my Sheree moment of the season as like it or not she provided perhaps the only worthwhile moment last year against Nene and Marshmellow.
Seriously this show needs to end after this season. It’s nice and all but the Altanta leg of the franchise has ran it’s course.

NeNe is the only reason to watch the show, if the new people dont step up and become revelant, this will be the last season, and NeNe will continue to land jobs, appear on showa and grace the covers of magazines. Because the girl dont have class but she have the personality to make it work.
