Remember MTV’s ‘G’s to Gents’ reality show?
The show, hosted by Atlanta’s own Fonzworth Bentley, was intended change the lives of a few misdirected young men and transform them from roughnecks (ie G’s) to sophisticated gentleman.
Somewhere along the way it missed the mark!
The well meaning show ended in 2008, and since then, at least two of the participants have faced jail time after their participation.
Baron “Dirty” Colon, a finalist on the show got arrested last year for MURDER and contestant, Markice “Kesan” Moore, was arrested after he was accused of abusing his daughter, although he avoided jail in his case.
Now the actual WINNER of the show, who appeared to have totally transformed into a “Gent” has been arrested after he launched a primitive money laundering scheme in Walmart!
Details + mugshot below…
According to TMZ, Creepa — the winner of the MTV reality show “From G’s to Gents” — was arrested last week for allegedly masterminding and executing a counterfeit cash scheme in Florida.
According to law enforcement, Creepa — real name Thaddeus Chaylon Martin — provided counterfeit U.S. bills to a female associate and had her buy a $145 cell phone at a SuperWalmart in Gainsville.
Once the woman bought the phone, Creepa allegedly took it to a different Wallmart and returned the phone for legitimate bills.
It’s unclear how authorities uncovered the alleged scheme, but when investigators spoke with the woman who purchased the phone … she told cops she had no idea the money was bogus.
According to the report, the woman “became extremely irate with [Creepa] to the point of having to be restrained by [police] to keep her from physically attacking [Creepa].”
Creepa was charged with multiple counts of fraud and was hauled to Alachua County Jail — where he was booked and posed for an angry mug shot.
Pretty shocking allegations for a man who won $100k in 2008 … by proving to Fonzworth Bentley that he was ready to become a “True Gentleman.”
I was totally rooting for these dudes too! *sigh*
Are you surprised that Creepa “creeped” back to his old ways?

Lol she knew what she was doin n he jus looks shady as hell…
I’m still stuck on wal Mart….. o_O
LMAO…I guess the folks who work at Best Buy are too smart to get bamboozled!
Now that’s real reality for that azz! So many shows are fake but these dudes are real thugs.
So i guess the dudes on here are really bad guys
How do you expect someone from the hood to act when you give them $100K with NO guidance??? No one set him up with a financial advisor, and set him up on a path to a better life! Skills…resume….job!?!?!?! Y’all KNOW he ran through that money with the quickness! So he went back to what he knew. Not surprised…I see that show only lasted what, 2 seasons?! smh at exposing the obvious stereotypes.
Actually the last remaining contestants were set up with a life coach and a financial planner. They also discussed how they would go about achieving their life’s goals which was one of the reasons he was selected.
Playas is always playin. They knew what to say to win that money then went on about their usual, stereotypical lives.
you need a financial advisor for $100,000. Where are we, in rural Alabama. That money is like two years pay at a full time job. YOu can’t open McDonalds with it. Bank half of it, blow the other half and get a job. YOLO (I hate that acronym)
I actually liked that show. It showed how important having a man in your son’s life to guide him is important. It can be an uncle, pastor, favorite guy friend but men need to show men how to be men.
You can fool some people some of the time but you can’t fool all people all of the time! Change is unrealistic for some people.
It sure is. Some people will never change. Thugs never change.
Damn poverty mindset is a killa!
LMAO! Is that what it is? You might be on to something girl.
ok now we see who did bad, now who did good…
he looks like midget mack in the face. I really liked him on the show sad how things turned out but i believe they needed REAL help not a t.v. show
I liked the show too, but the real reality is that you can’t put a nicca in a suit, give him $100k, and expect him to change if his mind is still the same and he has to go back to the same environment. It doesn’t work like that. This "reality" TV stuff is bogus.
True. I really liked this show(was mad when they cancelled it) and Creepa was one of my faves…Its so sad to hear this about him. I liked Dirty, too-wow@his circumstances. I hope they put their trust in God to get them thru all this.
With a street name like #CREEPA? What do u expect. U can take the nigga out the Hood, but you can’t take the Hood out the nigga!! That street shit is within…I’m sure he had to pay taxes out that $100k and flipped the rest and went shopping for clothes, purchased pounds of weed, bottles etc. Black ghetto dudes like that don’t know what to do with a large lump some cuz they not use to having shit!! smdh #Walmart really?
Pure Coonery!
There was a after special show what the winners of this show were doing now. He did not receive $100,000.00, he had to get his GED. I thought that was wrong.
No wonder he on them get-money-quick schemes! He earned that money, they are wrong for that.
So if he would have gotten his GED he would have received the 100K? Didnt the producers know he never received a GED before casting him? IJS most of them didnt have one.
YOU CAN’T MAKE TOSS SALAD OUT OF CAT SHIT!!!
I’m not surprised at all. Thats generally what happens when you are, and I say this down playing every ounce of intelligence to get my point across, "Bout Dat Life Bruh Bruh". Oh dear God that made me throw up in my mouth! Anywho, Creepa tried the rap career, going back to school and I guess he felt like going back to the streets would make him more money. Its a vicious cycle, but He’ll get it sooner or later… P.S. It might just be me but hes still adorable with all that hair on his head!
Uhm…I have a college degree…I’d get my Master’s for a promise of 100K! Homeboy couldn’t swing a GED? Sorry don’t think the producers were wrong…I believe he’s lazy!
