Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta hit up inTouch Weekly’s 5th Annual 2012 Icons + Idols event at Chateau Marmont on Sept. 6, 2012 in West Hollywood, California.
Just a few weeks ago, the fabulous blond “housewife” released her new line of shoes, she also revealed that she’s a grandmother.

I think that dress looks better on the model. The dress looks good on NeNe, but it’s time to either get a professional stylist or sit down somewhere. Everything doesn’t have to be skin tight. She was in LA, that’s usually how they dress out there.

I like the blonde on her, but I can see how others think it’s ugly. As far as the lipstick, I think she’s going for that retro 60′s and 70′s look. Remember when Diana Ross used to wear the natural/nude/pale colored lipstick during The Supremes? I think that’s the look NeNe is trying to achieve.

The dress is cute, and she’s very curvacious. HOWEVER, her legs are hideous (not pretty like mine…I got those Tina Turner legs…must be the STL water lol). She need to keep those tree stumps at least partway covered.

Ummmh the dress is ok. But she looks a little heavy in it. The first thing I thought of when I saw the pic was piano keys. It is time for a new look. That blonde hair messes up everything, everytime. The shoes are ok, but some shoes make your toes slide forward when your walking. Who doesn’t know that?

She wants to change the hair but Ryan Murphy told her she had to keep it for Rocky character. She should invest in some wigs but maybe she scared they will look like Kim Z or Wendy Williams. Hollywood people are all about being thin and IMO, unless she plan on losing more weight she should think about wearing clothes more suited to her frame, like she use to do.

Nene looks good and everybody knows that camera adds weight. Nene is very tall and curvy and I like the dress. I think her legs look fine it looks like there is something up with the picture because on the other photos her legs don’t look bad. If you look at the way the shoes are made your toes will slide to the front and ok like they are hanging off especially if you use lotion or anything else on your feet. Her hair I don’t care for but, if the producer wants your hair a certain way he is signing them network checks so she gotta do what she gotta do for now. I’m sure once the taping is done and all the promo is over she will change it up. Ms. Leakes keep doing what you do you look GGrrreeeaaattt!

I hate to see women of a certain age wearing mini’s but if your are over 40yrsold and want to wear one you need to get some body makeup for your legs. I would like the dress on younger and fit women. I would have paired this dress with black leggings and black stilletos boots or booties. I also think that Nene should spend a little money on a stylist.

I don’t really care for NeNe at all. Her attitude is disgusting. But the dress looks nice on her. I wonder how often it rode up in the back throughout the night though. Now her legs……..they need some work. They are boney and disproportioned in relation to her body, but there’s nothing she can do about that. She has some major scars on her legs and no matter how much grease/motor oil she slathers on them, they always look rusty. She should invest in some microdermabrasion on those joints. Her hair is a mess, but she has been wearing it for so long, she must really think it’s cute and it probably won’t be changing. I personally think she would look better with a dark auburn hair color with some streaks of a lighter red, and perhaps a natural/kinky looking weave. The makeup is a mess, but it always is.
