StraightFromTheA exclusively spilled the TEA several weeks ago that Scrappy had finally stepped up to the plate and put a ring on his baby mama’s finger during Part 2 of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta’s reunion show, crushing the heart of his BFF, Shay “Buckeey” Jones, in the process.

The cute couple are now finally free spill the beans about their engagement and Erica can finally show off the ring that Mona purchased.
“I may say some of the same things that other dudes say, but I don’t mean it in the same way,” he offered.
“I’m not like these other baby daddy dudes out here. I really take care of mine.” ~ Scrappy

Erica reveals to Rolling Out that the engagement caught her by surprise, but she feels great about Scrappy’s decision to do the right thing…
“I’m in a very good place in my life right now,” she shared, while watching Scrappy take some solo photos.
“I learned so much about myself through this process with the show, and now I’m just looking forward to this next chapter in my life.”
Scrappy admits to Rolling Out that it was time for him to make a change…. and the decision to put a ring on Erica’s finger appears to be a continuation of his effort to live life in a very grown man type of way.
“It was time for me to do something really grown,” he shared.
“So I popped the question and the beautiful lady said yes … that’s why she has the ring on her finger. But now we’re just waiting for the next big step. I wasn’t trying to play around with it for a hundred years. I wanted to do something really big. “

I like these two together and hopefully this isn’t just a made for tv romance. I’ll always rooting for the home team, but if Scrappy’s popping the question with the phrase ‘you gone marry a n*cca or what?’ starts a trend, I’m quitting!

Well Erica during the show you learned a lot about yourself, and yet you still accepted this enagement ring….so you didn’t realize that that you could do better, and that being with Scrappy is a chapter that you should have closed and just co-parent your child. I hope all works out, but it when it doesn’t I don’t think anyone will be suprised!!!

Seriously….they are a cute couple. Despite the rocky start on TV, they seem to have matured and willing to do the adult thing and set a stable enviroment for their child. Hopefully love will blossom! Nothing ever grows without some hardship (rain), and maybe this was their storm and they both see clearer. Nothing but well wishes!

I noticed that too….maybe they decided to do the skin shots once they got there….But, the make up or stylist should have had wax strips/ razors on hand. Otherwise, the pic’s are beatiful.

From a man to Erica, this will not work out! Scrap was just caught in the moment and is trying to get a spinoff show, and also trying to get the child support payments to stop! Ppl trip me out. Scrappy did the right thing. That show is edited which means what we see is not really what we think it is. Scrappy clearly loves Erica because like she said…all of his conversations with Shay were about Erica. He is like most men he had a good thing wasn’t sure what to do with it so he went and did what all dudes do..play around until they WAKE UP and see that what they are looking for is right in their face. Erica also did what most women with kids wish they could do make their family whole. She obviously loved Scrappy and she said with her own mouth she was going to get a ring. She already knew she was the treasure he was looking for. They look good together and I’m happy they are together because SHAY was just all wrong she is looking for a ticket ride and fame. She came out of the blue with the show. We haven’t heard from her or seen here since Charm school on VH1 and now this?? I think Erica has been through a lot with Scrappy and she is truly in love with him. A lot of people want that type of love. She’s had some abandonment issues growing up with having no parents present and I think she is sacrificing for her daughter. Scrappy don’t keep going back to Erica for no reason, he has to love her. He’s just a mama boy. They need to work through those issues with some counseling and their relationship really has a chance to work.

Nice pictures and I think they look cute together but for some reason I just DON’T see the chemistry between these two. On TV they seem like they are just REALLY good friends but I don’t see that spark of "forever after" between them.
