As I stated in my last post, NeNe’s shoe, The Nethia, will retail for $39.99 (like all of the other shoedazzle shoes, and while the profits reportedly will go to a great cause, I’m not too sure we’ll be seeing Leakes give up her “Red Bottoms” anytime soon.
Leakes was joined at the event by her fellow RHOA cast mates, Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss (and season 5 ‘newbies’ Kenya Moore & Porsha Stewart)

BTW… According to MadamNoire, Leakes’ shoe launch comes on the heels of her glowing profile the Wall Street Journal, which was published last week.
In the piece called “A Real Housewife Lands an Outside Gig”, the largest newspaper in the US called NeNe a “snarky quote machine” and talks about her new gig on “The New Normal”. Apparently, it’s difficult for those who find fame under their own names to then get work as fictional characters.
According to WSJ, Ryan Murphy, who co-created “The New Normal” and first cast her as a recurring guest on his hit series “Glee”, initially saw NeNe on Celebrity Apprentice when she quit Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” midshow after getting hostile with fellow contestant Star Jones.
Watching this on TV, Mr. Murphy saw a commanding performance and called Ms. Leakes directly. She says she didn’t know who the producer was, so she ignored him until her manager found out and urged her to return the calls.
She is likely to reprise her role as a hotheaded athletic coach on “Glee” this season. Mr. Murphy offered her the part on “New Normal” via text message.
NeNe said in her memoir that she always wanted to be a “famous actress” and WSJ reports that a year and a half ago, she took on a new manager, Steven Grossman. He told the newspaper that, to boost her crossover appeal they set out to shift the perception of her from “bitchy and mean” to “sassy and confident.”

I like Nene and happy she is doing well but if a person is selling shoes of course people are going to focus on the shoe the person is wearing and in every pic of Nene shown that one toe is hanging out. Don’t get mad because I stated a fact. Are you mad because you didn’t say it first?!

Unfortunately, those style shoes make your feet fall forward regardless! I have tried many "gadgets" that are sold to stop the foot from going forward but to no avail. I too am a victim of the "toe-over-the top" myself. One would think that as much as we pay for those shoes, the designer would figure out how to stop that. I have been very careful about buying more like these cause they look so darn awful when snapping that photo!

Maybe she only has on one spanx under her dress, she looks bigger to me. My boss had on 3 spanks at an event we held. Im like as much money as you make just get a personal trainer, Sheree is available. LOL

I am very happy for NeNe, much success to her in all of her future endeavors! But my only draw back is that she is working on this shoe/project with Kim K????!!!?? If anything, that may taint the situation! I just Can Not support that broad. She is ratchet!
