Apparently Ne-Yo got the big head (pun intended) and decided to give Trey Songz a lil “constructive criticism” recently during a radio show interview:
Trey’s one of them dudes that could be a serious problem if he decided to put that emotion in there.

“Ain’t no need to have that conversation for the world to hear, you know. And I feel like that’s a sucker move. It’s all good though.

It’s not like NE-YO is lying! I use to love Trey when he first came out, now I do nothing but cringe and change the station/channel when I hear him now. Trey fell off something terrible! IMO.
I do the same "Ladies & The Drinks" is a far cry "Just Got To Make It". Those emotional deep songs on his first album didn’t get him recognition. When he took his shirt off and started selling sex he went to the top of the charts. Music for the money, now you want to criticize?! I just want to know when he became a thug, in his interviews he acts real hard for no reason, you’re an R&B singer.

I don’t understand why people ask Stars for the opinion and than when they give their true feelings people get mad. I’m not really a big fan of neither Trey or Ne-Yo I men they have a few songs I like but other than that I can take or leave them. But I don’t feel Ne-Yo was dissing I think he was giving his honest opinion more from a fan perspective not a hater. I used 2 luv Trey but he started doin waaaay 2 much. He’ll never be as big as Breezy, Neyo, etc #1 because he cant take criticism #2 his attitude has went south and #3 his voice really isnt that strong.

1. I wish our black celebs would stop using the word "nigga" in interviews and on twitter/FB. That’s just me.
2. Neyo is always taking sly shots at artists, beit Usher, Trey, whomever. Sometimes he comes off as a hater. My opinion. His Libra Scale was nothing to write home about, yet he had plenty to say about Raymond VS Raymond (yes, I do defend Usher sometimes lol). Neyo’s a good writer and dancer, but his singing is average at best. He’s one of the writers that successfully transitioned to artist. Be glad and shut up sometimes.
Trey did the same thing to R Kelly. Karma is a B*tch, now Trey knows how it feels. R Kelly made the same statement about Trey.
One of the problems is when you record music to computer tracks you as a singer don’t feel the music because it has no human emotion in it. Drum machines are convenient but they take away from human dynamics. Singers were more emotional in the 70′s because they could not hide behind technology. The entire band interacted on the songs through there music. If you was not singing people would tell you. You not singing brother you faking.Stop being studio gangsters and sing the damn song with all your heart. Use real musicians. It sounds one hundred times better. The truth and nothing but the truth. Ne-Yo is right though! I mean, people can say what ever they want about Ne-Yo personal life, this cat has hits, sales and international success. He knows what he’s talking about. Trey, you can’t f**k all the time and pop bottles and be a thug when yoiu’re aiming at ladies. YOu can’t use those things to crossover and have an international appeal either. People say R. Kelly did it, but he also made "I Believe I Can Fly" as well! Those Sex songs got him famous, those REAL songs got him Grammy’s and a real appeal!!
