The AJC reports that the show is a MONSTER hit for VH1, with last week’s episode accumulating over 3.5 million viewers.

While there hasn’t been an “official” announcement, it’s obvious that there WILL be a season 2 negotiated for the top rated show and word on the curb is that there will also be a few cast changes the next go round.
Rasheeda and her hubby Kirk Frost have been ride or die for each other for years but the stress and pressure of the show is slowing tearing their once strong relationship to shreds.
I heard several months ago that Kirk really wasn’t feeling the way he was being portrayed on the show and that he almost immediately regretted signing up.
That being said, Kirk will always continue to stand by his wife when it comes to her career goals and the pair would rather split up on air than in “real life,” so guess what that means?
Rasheeda stays and Kirk goes.
Kirk isn’t willing to play the reality show game so he’s stepping back in order to let Rasheeda shine.
I’m not sure exactly how it will play out onscreen, but however Mona decides to edit it, trust me when I tell you the couple is doing just fine.

Ok. Now…. here’s the real scoop!
I told y’all right before the season started about a few sudden cast changes ie Atlanta rapper Diamond abruptly quitting the show because the Lord told her to (click HERE if you missed that).
Well it appears that Miss. 32 Flavors had a change of heart and now she’s recruited her on again/off again sponsor boyfriend Soulja Boy to take part in the festivities.
While I’m sure Momma Dee is still fuming over Diamond’s treatment of her son, that’s of no consequence to either of the hip-hoppers who are probably looking forward getting to those LHHA checks!
I don’t know if you heard, but Soulja Boy recently hooked up with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson for a “Father/Son” mixtape.

Kirk should stay on there because he represent a positive place where men should be with their lady/wife. I love watching Kirk and Rasheeda 2gether……..much love to both of them……he is doing what is best for the marriage.
Good idea, but, postive images of black men are not allowed on TV in this country, gold toothed, silly tatooed hood rats is all they want to show.
The sad part is becasue they are a strong married couple, and he seems to be a positive black man is the reason why reality tele isn’t the place for him. Scrappy and Stevie will do just fine on this show!!!

Oh, if this is true, then whew lawd, Season 2 may be a bit more explosive then Season 1. LHHATL has blown the LHHNY/NJ cast out of the water!!! However, I do hope something can be worked out to where Kirk decides to stay because he and my girl Rasheeda really DO bring such a good balance to the show as a couple.

That is because she had a lot of scenes with her and Diamond, but Diamond decided to quit doing the show half way in, so that’s why we hardly see any of Rasheeda or else if Diamond were on the show also, we’d see A LOT more Rasheeda.

If Rasheeda is 40 years of age(and a female…they love male rappers), why is she still pursuing a career in an industry that absolutely hates black women? Most of the deals are given out by guys, who sometimes do not care for talented black female rappers.I have watched how this industry does female lyricist and I tell you it aint pretty or fair to the artist.But, I guess it’s your dream, girl.Do you!IMO…I would choose family over the career, though. Diamond was just on Power 105.1 (NY) saying she does not have intrest in being on that show. She said they cast the net to all of "whose who" of ATL to get people to be on the show. I highly doubt she nor Soulja Boy will be on the show.

yep I will be honest I was one of those people. then I caught a glimpse of the sh!t while waiting for hollywood exes to come on and there I was hooked. The blogs talked so much about the show til I had to give in. It’s scripted, it’s trash, but it’s my guilty pleasure and I make sure my kids know it aint real!!!!

I really like Kirk and Sheeda and what they represent. They are a very attractive and very REAL couple. I love that the show highlights one of the main issues in every marriage and that is struggle in compromise. I wish them all the best.

I saw Diamond’s interview on the Breakfast Club last week, and from the sounds of her word, SHE WILL NOT be joining the cast of LHHATL. She said they have no rights as far as editing goes so she doesn’t want to be on there when she won’t have any control, it’s not positive, nor is it gonna help her already established career.

I like Kirk and Sheeda on the show. I think Sheeda was disloyal to her husband and she needs to rethink her choices as a wifee.
